Distiller Crispin Cain describes the nose, palate, and finish of Tamar Distillery’s Mendocino Spirits Straight Bourbon Whiskey, which was awarded 92 points by the 2023 Ultimate Spirits Challenge.

The mash of corn, malted rye, and malted barley was double-distilled in an antique pot still from Cognac and aged for three years in new charred Bourbon barrels.
