Chorus:
Shawty, I don’t mind
If you dance on a pole, that don’t make you a ho
Shawty, I don’t mind
When you work until three, if you’re leaving with me
Go make that money, money, money
Your money, money, money
'Cause I know how it is, go and handle your biz
And get that money, money, money
Your money, money, money
You can take off your clothes, long as you coming home
Girl, I don’t mind

I missed the comment section where people were debating if it is better to have a stripper for a girlfriend or not.

It’s a travesty that this never got a music video, I heard this SO many times as a kid 😭
  • @JesseColton
I can't believe Usher had the balls to cover Kermit like this

I love the song and the message is he loves his girl and is not bothered by her job! She could be a bar tender or waitress in a coffee shop or factory worker, he loves her and knows she loves him. It's a song, don't know why so many people getting upset about a song about a pole dancer.
  • I remember when I first heard this song back in 2014 on the radio. It was such a great thing to hear and listen to when I would come back from middle school, or even just going out on weekends. I’m gonna be going to university this year, and I’m just excited but also nervous. I always appreciate these songs that I really enjoyed in the early 2010s, since it felt like the great years of the decade
  • This song is surprisingly wholesome, just a dude supporting his girl's choice of hustle.
