While it hasn't been easy being green, it is easy evolving when you're a frog... trust me, they were born to evolve. And Kermit is no different. Over the past 60+ years Kermit has evolved in many ways!

My dad and I danced to Rainbow Connection for the Father-Daughter dance at my quince. My mom wanted it to at least be a cover but we DEMANDED that it was Kermit. It holds a really special spot in my heart now and I still tear up when I hear it.💚

Kermit tap dancing to "Happy Feet" is an absolute favorite.

My favorite Kermit moment is always when he sings Rainbow Connection. I learned to play that song when I took guitar in college many years ago now and every time I play it, i picture myself in that swamp. The clip you showed from Muppets 3-D would be pretty close too because I adored that show at MGM Studios back in the day.

Loved this video, I am a Puppeteer! YES evolution of Big Bird!!!

Seeing Kermit swim in Octopus' Garden was always my favorite

My most favorite Kermit memory is one my family does every year. Watching The Muppets Christmas Carol on Christmas Eve.
  • Watching the trailer for muppets now really made me realize how different kermits voice is with the change of the actor. Kermit just doesn't feel like kermit anymore.

4:41 Let's get a bunch of likes on this so he can do Big Bird. Also, rest in peace Caroll Spinney... :'(

I came in thinking this was an evolution of the Kermit costume in the parks, and was pleasantly surprised by the in depth coverage of the puppet instead! Love it! Busted out laughing around 7:28

This is so interesting. I would have never guessed there were so many alterations to the look of Kermit. Also I watch these videos for Dan's happy personality and laugh and I was not disappointed.

I'd kill for someone to do this for all the other muppets. Rowlf? Dr. Teeth? Clifford? Scooter? I'd love an evolution for all of them, the only thing is it'd take SO MUCH TIME.
  • No episode of Disney Dan/DiStory is complete without Dan just dying of laughter

Last week on the first episode of season 5 of The Masked Singer, snail was unmasked to be Kermit The Frog himself!
  • @cheesegavioli
Incredible how I never questioned the Kermit on the fire truck 😂 I didnt ask how he was being puppeted, I was just like "Yeah he's Kermit he can do that."

The funny thing is, before Steve performed Kermit, he was one of the frog advertising executives in Muppets Take Manhattan, and his character sounded sort of like his Kermit. Then it repeated itself with Matt performing Constantine, that film's Kermit doppelganger before performing the frog himself. Weird how that worked out.
  • I just love Dan's laugh, it's so infectious. One can't help but smile when they hear it. ^_^

From THE MUPPET MOVIE, people always talk about Kermit riding a bike as the most impressive scene, but no one ever talks about what happened before that. Kermit's swamp scene singing RAINBOW CONNECTION and Jim Henson literally performing Kermit while submerged underwater in a cramped container for 5 days for that one scene.
