The dead-pan sarcasm over this MAJESTIC specimen is just classic Dawid. Neko unlocking the phone with his paw was the cherry on top.
-
What is hilarious is even though that phone is cheap af they can still afford to include an inbox screen protector and charging cable and a 3.5 mm jack lol.
-
My mum bought a similar thing from Wish a while back. When she told me I begged her to cancel the order but she was adamant it was a real high-end phone for £50 and she was just getting a brilliant bargain. Needless to say it barely turned on and it spoofed the memory capacity.
-
Finally Dawid found the rabbithole of WELCOME phones on Aliexpress. Good luck on your future adventures in this space!

"I can't download apps because of google not working" Seems you forgot about loading apps from APK files that you load on your phone. This functionality alone makes old phones and tablets with old versions of Android still useful.
-
My main problem is that as a purple iPhone 14 Pro owner, I'm jealous that you managed to get the one purple titanium 15 Pro they made. The rest seems correct, my iPhone can't properly run Android either.
-
Good to see Neko is broadening his tech skills to include mobile devices.

Damn, an MT6582, that brings back memories. My second phone had a MT6592, which was a 8 cores SoC and already massively better than the MT6582 (and there was also a MT6572, which was a dual-core). Even for the time, it wasn't great, but it was a decent mid-ish range phone, "the time" being around early 2014. On top of being a 10 years old SoC, I remember the Android 5.0 firmware being incredibly buggy on those, with unstable drivers and a lot of apps not working properly, Mediatek was just providing it as a base for the OEM, but no one ever modified it. It's crazy that they're still selling scam phone with the exact same hardware, you would think even the crappy SoC would've improved, but no.

Given that Neko can unlock that phone, the phone is now officially his

The cat's paw had me rolling! 🤣🤣🤣

Wow, you got the brand new iPhone 15 Pro Max "Venereal disease" edition.
-
This was some next level sarcasm.. these are the types of videos that make your channel great!
-
smoorez viewers know damn well it's a 1gb ram with 8gb storage and an mtk6580 soc with a 480p screen and a 2mp camera

I used an ancient iPhone 3gs (from 2009) until last year when the 3g network shutdown in the states. I feel like it would give that thing a run for its money. If Canadia still has 3g you'd get legit blue bubbles too.
-
My s21 does the gimmick fingerprint. What is actually happening is your face was recognized and the finger merely unlocks the screen.
-
Must admit, I was waiting for you to slap a high end video card on it and try to game on it!
-
I was hoping to see if Dawid could get Half Life 2 running on it.
-
When you put your cat's paw on the phone and it opened I could not stop laughing, Great Review!!
-
Dawid clearly doesn't watch Smoorez or else he'd have known that the "fingerprint" sensor also works with your tongue, eye, vas deferans, taint, basically any skin.

With those fake phones, sometimes you can use ADB to find hidden apps they use to set stats and stuff, then run them and edit it to even more ridiculous numbers and stuff. Like you can be "proud owner" of new Android 16 phone before Google even thought of making one. :-D Because they often leave those behind, they just aren't listed in Android. Also fingerprint sensor usually is just fake and anything triggering touch screen in sensor area will unlock it, fully counting on use never trying anything but registered finger. Same goes for other stuff too. Also you likely would have to use ADB or something to sideload apps, making sure they are compatible with actual Android version there. Since it can be that old.
