After grabbing a 1994 Jeep Wrangler YJ at an auction, one DIY project turned a problematic ride into a dream off-road vehicle. Overall, 65 hours were devoted to this ’94 YJ, transforming it from a total loss to a Jeep the owner is proud to own and drive, both on the street and on the mountain. Spend time finding the right Jeep, do your research and be patient. Your hard work and vision can convert a salvaged wreck into a summer dream.

  • Nicely done. I have a 94 with the 4.0 HO and I have to tell you it's a great vehicle. You and your wife did a great job on this one...

I have loved the paint job the texturizing of the green paint is wonderful. Overall the Jeep looks like a true Jeep not some freak of nature people mod out.

Do you ever dream of a place where a lot of people drive mostly jeeps from all generations from the ww2 to the most latest jeeps of all. I remember back then my grandpa told me that they were more ww2 jeeps than any other latest and vietnam war era jeeps being driven back then not just american jeeps you could see. But also some japanese type ones like the toyotas and Mitsubishi and also korean ones too. Even today there is still a factory to this day that still manufactures ww2 and vietnam war era jeeps to this day. A lot of people still drives jeeps today in my country 🇵🇭 including the iconic passenger jeepney too. Even though that jeepneys and old jeeps are not allowed to be driven on big cities and you can only see them in rural, mountainous and remote areas. For the fact that many people here now drive pickup trucks and SUV but for me they'll never beat the old jeeps here they can be fixed at any repair shops rather than a fancy service center!

Very nice job of restoring the yj . I have a 90 and enjoy using it and working on it
  • The rear half of the tub is almost identical to the tub on my 1948 CJ-2A. It's amazing that the design changed very little after 46 years!
