As an Algerian we make this for lunch not for breakfast šŸ˜‚ but we put onion like a lot of onions and sometimes with a bit potatoes and it's like traditional summer dish in Algeria ā¤ We call it "chakchouka "

Every mother should make this for their children when they are growing upā€¦. Breakfast, lunch, or dinnerā€¦ such a comfort and a great memory.

Sometimes itā€™s not about the food and just the memories! Even having some eggs and toast can hit home if it reminds you of somebody you care about!

I swear eating shaksuka with challah is one of the most delicious breakfasts you can have.
  • Lol nothing beats those early weekend breakfasts with dadā¤!! My dad and I would wake up and eat brown bread toast with margarine and sweet black coffee...one of my best memories, I eat it every time I miss him...he passed 4 years ago from cancer

I am Mexican and we call the Huevos Rancheros en Ahogada .. Love Them for breakfast also my favorite Saturday breakfast dish . Thanks for sharingšŸ˜ŠšŸ„°. Also reminds me of my Mom šŸ„°
  • Yo, I made this dish on accident like a year ago. I had nothing in the fridge except some tomatoā€™s and some eggs. I thought I was just slapping some random mess together, glad to know itā€™s actually a thing people eat.
