Imagine being a robber, who has been arrested several times, held at gun point, and more, just to be scared of a fog generator.
  • @resolute123
"Now they can't even spot the cash register..." I believe they are underestimating human memory.
  • @JustPlainRob
Under no circumstances should you scan your palm, fingerprint, eye, or any biometric piece to enter a stadium. If they even use facial recognition you should sue the shit out of them. Public biometrics is nothing but a dystopian nightmare.
  • hmmm .... What would stop an intruder from raising their hands in the surrender posture but still walking forward slowly to their target?
  • @lolly_bread
Did we get the store robber's face on video? No the room was full of fog. Oh.
  • Putting up a warning sign you have a fog generator seems counterproductive. It seems like the type of device that would be more effective if it were a total surprise. Otherwise the robber could just be like, "If I see fog, you see stars when I whack your head with this bat!".

The turret is something I have been wanting for many years cause I would equip it with unaliving things. The Fog system isn't new it's been around since 1997. The cart thing isn't new either it's been around for a long time lol. A lot of these aren't new at all unless you been living under a rock for near 50yrs or more.

Unfortunately, you cannot injure anyone trying to break into your car, your home if you are not home, or property unless you are present and threatened. There is no law protecting your property from being destroyed, what mean is that while it is illegal for them to do so… it’s only after the fact, and if the person destroying your property while you are not there get injured by something you left behind in an intent to stop said action, you could be sued. Good example of this is the guy who got tired of his mailbox getting destroyed by kids driving around and taking them out with a bat. He decided to fill it with concrete. Kids doing what kids do and got injured, he got jail time. True story, look it up.

Walmart uses cart tech similar to the Gatekeeper system. We have carts lock up INSIDE THE STORE all the time. . . 😐
  • 0:46 Great the first step in teaching the Skynet Terminator T-800’s how to hunt us down and take us out to be used as batteries for the Matrix.

The "FOG" could be used for home break-ins. You can't steal what you can't see, and the "FOG" should also give off a caustic sting to burn the eyes, or a temporary odor that induces nausea.
  • Your Tiso spikes are definitely an issue. as you posted on your thumbnail Early in my career as a security technician in the mid 2000s. The biggest issue regarding break ins in my area are bears. Several homeowners in the area thought it was a great idea to set nails through plywood and place them below windows and doors. A few incidents occurred, One, several of a homeowner's gusts were severely injured by these trying to escape a house fire. Another, this complete Ahole of a person parked one of these at his front door, and painted it to match the stone work of the walkway, nearly invisible. It got two FedEx employees and nearly got me, I felt the nails pushing through my shoes and rolled back and fell before it went through. My company fired him as a client, the property manager did same, the insurance company cancelled, and the police as well as the wildlife division got involved. Needless to say, I haven't seen them anywhere since.

With all the locks using keys, I wonder how well they'd do if tested by The LockPickiingLawyer.
  • @steveknight4377
the last item, Bullock Excellence. the brake peddle lock came out over 20 years ago. if you have a manual transmission, you put the lock on the clutch pedal instead of the brake pedal.
  • @SlickBubbles
Those spikes on top of the fence requires special permissions in Canada. They could only be used in a few high security settings, just like barbed wire. Even seemingly tame fences or fence posts that have 'spikes' on them can be illegal and f a person were to fall or slip onto the spike and it was more than likely to pierce skin, even if a person was trespassing. That is the law in Canada.
  • @MacNifty
The motorcycle brake lock does not work. All you have to do is jump. The bike hit the gas and it will Snap that lock right off. You can even do it just walking the bike. The handle grip lock is a plastic or a resin and one quick grinder is going to snap that baby. Or a hot wire. The fence top with silly palm spikes is no match for a piece of metal that flattens them. Just toss a log the log will stick to them and you use the log.
  • the SHOPPING CART that's supposed to LOCK if it goes past the store or the parking lot is already being used & I must say that it does NO GOOD. I see them all over the streets PASSED the stores and all it is is a BAR inside the cart that they could either REMOVE or still use it it,so again UNLESS this is a newer model it don't work

Did anyone else see the armored door screen and think "the security is nice but that thing will finally keep the bugs out"?
