I recently drove downtown near the CNTower to the Eaton Centre, after many years avoiding downtown. I don't miss the constant bumper to bumper traffic, construction restrictions, on a constant lookout for jaywalkers, the restricted times for turning and parking, and the outrageous parjing prices. But i do miss the views, the scenery, some of the architecture, the buzz and action, amd access to so much without having to travel very far.
