No music, no talking, just making a Homer Simpson meme rug from start to finish!

My 5th rug tufting video - completely underestimated how challenging doing the face detailing on a rug this size would be! Any tips on how to get really defined THIN lines (eg. the black line around his face) please let me know in the comments! Any questions you have about the processes seen in this video drop it down below and i'll do my best to give you the answer.

Hey just a heads up from a professional, when you use that spray adhesive, do it outside (or in a VERY well ventilated area) and wear a respirator. Those tiny adhesive particles can be inhaled, go into your lungs and stick to the walls of your lungs where you add to the glue every time you breathe in. There is no way to get rid of it. This is how an instructor of mine died.

  • omg i never thought i can use a video projector to draw I'am using it now to paint a graffiti in my garage you just saved me hundreds bucks Thanks !
  • "This is easy!" I thought until I tried it and ended up with a painting in the loosest sense of the decoration. Bravo to you!
  • A too I learned to get clean lines is to cut trim every color before you put the next color in. I find it helps out

A small tip from someone who's been getting into sewing! For seamless edges, try folding the edges under the black, Kinda like what you did for the base of the carpet that you stitched into when you glued that on. Similar to that, however folding them down under the black instead of over, and thus creates a seamless edge that would make them look nicer on the back. I know those things can get annoying, especially for those with OCD.
