How To Make Ramen Noodles In Your Keurig Coffee Brewer - Correct Setting

Published 2015-12-01
This video will show you how to make Ramen noodles in your Keurig Coffee brewer, and the correct setting to use.

We've tried boiling water on a stove top, and also heating water in the microwave as the instructions tell you to do on the Ramen noodle package, but these two methods take longer then the Keurig method that we show here.

This is a fast easy way to prepare these noodles for your kids lunch or a fast snack.

For those with newer machines, it's 10 oz. Exactly. It's actually kind of amazing how perfect it is, temperature and all. My Keurig is also pretty damn quiet, so if I get a hankering for some salty goodness in the middle of the night, it's all good. No more noisy microwave, no noisy kettle.

Impatient laziness level 2 achieved! I use the hot water from my Keurig for all kinds of other things. I was really wondering if this would work, cuz I don't like waiting around but at the same time ramen noodles always turn out weird when you make them in the microwave, and are way better when you make them with boiling water. Those look pretty cooked to me. Thank you for making this vid! 😁👍

I’m in the navy and we aren’t allowed to have microwaves on the ship, but we have a coffee maker, this is gonna be so clutch when we go on deployment

So can anyone explain to me the difference between the keurig models that have a "hot water" dispensing feature and those that don't? I was thinking they had a separate nozzle for brewing coffee and dispensing hot water, but I don't believe that's the case. It sounds like one can dispense hot water only from any keurig. I'm looking for a keurig to sit on my tool box at work so I can brew coffee in the morning and get hot water for oatmeal during break. I thought I needed the full size k-elite with the hot water feature. I really don't have room on my toolbox for a full size keurig. I think the k-express or the k-compact da a more appropriate size.
