HARDCORE NUZLOCKE RULES (POKEMON HARD MODE)
-----------------------------------------------------
1. Only Pokemon with a Poison-typing can be used in battle.
2. I can only try to catch the first Poison-type that I encounter in each area.
3. If a Pokemon faints it cannot be used for the remainder of the run.
4. If my whole team faints then the attempt is over.
5. No items in battle (held items are okay).
6. Set mode enabled.
7. I cannot over-level beyond the highest level of the next gym. The level cap is shown in the overlay.
8. No duplicate species can be caught. Encounters for species that I have caught previously are re-rolled.
9. Any shiny Poison-type can be caught regardless of whether it is the first encounter of an area.
10. WILD AREA: Limit of one initial encounter on my first visit and one additional encounter for each gym badge. Isle of Armor encounters are included in this limit.
11. No Dynamax.

This team had some really good Pokémon, but the MVP for me is Scolipede just because of the incredible sweeps and baton pass.
  • @The_MMS
Toxciticy: Survives because he loves his trainer Aeigislash: I ain't allowing this
  • @andrewwelch5302
I think, more than anything, this shows just how powerful Poison types became after gen 4. Seriously, Scolipede is monstrous. I remember using it in my first ever White playthrough to be disappointed, only to see it get seriously buffed in gen 6.

3:44 You would have had a Dark type move for Stunky if you'd use the Payback TM on it... It's behind Prof. Magnolia's home and you can get it before battling Hop there.
  • I don’t know if you allow max den catches but it if you were could have able to catch a (hidden ability) speed boost scolipede. It would have made your baton passing strategy even more broken.

Not only good setups, but a good storyline for the entire video. The trainer becoming more toxic and using more insane strategies as they go on is better than most tv show/movie/anime (mainly Pokémon) plots. Good job!

2:00 Ok, I'm so tired after 2 hours of Russian lessons that instead of "Isle of Armor" I heard "Alabama". Yeah...

The Toxel line is my absolute favorite in SwSh. My first play through of Shield was a nuzlocke, and after my starter died Toxtricity became my team lead.

Nice vid man! I’ve always wanted to do a poison monolocke in a Pokémon game, and this has helped me a lot!
  • The production value on these videos are and will forever be my favorite part, a lot of care and thought gets put into them, and that makes them that much more entertaining, keep up the great work!
  • @Erifire
Poison types are very underrated in my opinion

Sidenote: New to the channel, gotta say I love the little annotations you place around talking bout the Moves and Abilities. Haven't seen that done before yet it's so simple it's brilliant!

"I ended his career once, and I'll do it again". Love your commentary 😂😂
  • @caterlloo
Ah, congrats on the Nord sponsorship! And the editing 👀
  • Sword and shield challenges may not be as challenging, but I love the Pokemon diversity you can get with all the encounters
  • @gemindigo2430
I’ve used scolipede for over a year now. It’s perfect. Especially the speed boost scolipede. The best set up mon that’s not an Uber imo.
  • @SamOrSamual
This was awesome! Scolipede made Allister look like a chump, I really struggled with ghost boy on my poison run.

5:33 My guy, Timid nature does not lowers SpA and increases Spe, Jolly nature does
  • @zunakei
I like the way you type what effect attack does etc on the screen. This is awesome! Sometimes I don't understand what attack you use because my english isn't that good, but those tips are really helping me out. Thank you!
