Just some useful hint how to use basic cheap tools and not giving up

    You need to explain this better..... You Do Not want to get the steel too hot. So you need to take your time and go in short bursts. If you overheat the steel you will never get a hole in it because you are actually hardening it. This type of sink in particular Kraus I think.... The bowl is 16 gauge but the deck is 3-4 mm thick. WD-40 maybe not the best choice. Maybe 3 in 1 oil.

    Thread cutting oil would serve you better than wd40. That's something I've learned the hard way. Did that wreck your hole saw?
  • i saw people use dishwashing soap as a lubricant. Do you think that would be better?
