Canelo Alvarez has a scheduled fight against Jaime Munguia May 4th at the T Mobile arena in Las Vegas meanwhile Ryan garcia has a fight scheduled with Devin Haney April 20 at the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn New York. both canelo and Ryan Garcia have patched things up and shown each other love on social media. Ryan garcia posted a picture with canelo saying "No amount of hate can separate our Mexican bond, thank you canelo for all the lessons and teachings you gave me. Also thank you to Eddy Reynoso for all the training you helped me with forever grateful and I'm thankful from the bottom of my soul. Canelo responded by saying "just focus and get the win. you know we love you kid" Eddy reynoso chimed in and said "Let's go shock the world son" Ryan Garcia is now trained by Derrick James. Haney vs garcia is scheduled to be a blockbuster fight on DAZN promoted by Matchroom boxing and Golden Boy Promotions.
