Cinemassacre’s Monster Madness marathons are some of the most rewatchable YT videos I’ve ever seen.

October wouldn't be the same without rewatching all of these

Well, I'll take a "person in a monster costume" over a crappy computer simulation like you see in every other movie made nowadays.

    0:09 - Gargoyles (1972) 4:49 - The Most Dangerous Game (1932) 10:11 - Hobgoblins (1980) 16:36 - The Exorcist Prequels: Exorcist: The Beginning (2004) and Dominion: Prequel to the Exorcist (2005) 24:48 - Don't Breathe (2016)
  • I saw 'Gargoyles' in 1972 on the Tuesdsy Movie of the Week which gave us some FANTASTIC movies for TV. Not what we would call a great film today, but strangely hard to forget.

9:39 my sophomore English teacher had us watch the most dangerous game and I thought it was kind of interesting even at that age but my jack ass friend next to me cracking shitty jokes the whole time took me out of it

Back in the ‘70s, GARGOYLES was the talk of the playground the day after it aired on television! THE MOST DANGEROUS GAME has been remade/reinterpreted many times, but none reach the level of the original ‘Kong’ version. THE EXORCIST 3 was a rare, masterful sequel but marred only by studio interference. Only the original and #3 (and perhaps THE NINTH CONFIGURATION) have any credibility.

I'm surprised you've never reviewed little monsters

No matter what form it takes, monster madness is always a good time

Dude I remember watching gargoyles on a Saturday afternoon in the early 90s. There was nothing on tv. Maybe Johnny Carson clips, hee haw, and infomercials.

Just a minor note: The gargoyle scenes weren't shot in slow motion. A decision was made in post to double-frame optically print the scenes in which the creatures appeared by themselves to help create a weirder feel and further help take the edge off the obvious fact of the creatures just being men in gargoyle suits.
