  • Hey guys, we've seen the Maisteer videos and he has been a big influence! We are waiting to hear how the steps sound on a car engine like the V12 before we scrap ours and start all over again. The bike engine revving out sounds cool, but kinda apples and oranges. And while there is real physics behind the steps, there are many variables to implement properly, that we are curious to see how he tackles and the results achieved. Definitely have our eyes on it!!!
  • Being a Ford employee for 31 years, I have to say. I'm proud of what you did with the mix of our parts and your own. This is a top notch bad ass build.
  • @kingdaniel3519
This is easily, hands down the single coolest build on YT in at least the last decade.
  • @hpa101
It sings! Great work yet again... I can't wait to hear it in the car 😎 - Markku
  • @robwatson3600
There is nothing "backyard" about these bastards. Cutting and welding heads, cutting new cams, this manifolds. This is professional engineering. 13:1 CR, that's kicks ass. Good job boys.
  • @gilowens5785
How this channel doesn’t have a couple hundred thousand subscribers blows my mind. Absolutely insane project being very well documented.
  • @prxcizion4129
Sounds even crazier than I thought it would. I've heard so many of this mod v10s and they always have this v6 kind of drone to them. This thing sounds insane! I bet with it toned back with a good muffler it's going to sound like a true exotic. Great work guys!
  • @Hydrazine1000
If I had to nitpick: it's still a 90° bank angle engine. But let's be honest, modding a block to the perfect 72° for a V10 would be utter madness. What a project! You guys might want to look into getting a high SPL microphone though. (Thats high sound pressure levels) The current set-up clearly succumbs to the awesomeness of an unmuffled proper equal length double 5-into-1 V10.
  • @Aiello_
have you guys seen Maisteer video on how F1 sounds are made? i think his findings fit this project perfectly!
  • Dump both banks into one collector for the ultimate sound. Basically a 2-into-1 setup. The crossover helps but balancing the exhaust pulses directly together in one pipe creates the most exotic sounding pitch and tone. Also improves scavenging for better flow and improves mid to upper end horsepower output. Great vid, thanks for sharing! Very fun.

The amount of engineering these guys have put into the whole design is nothing short of incredible. It's the custom heads on efi, I just haven't seen that very many. The noise that happened once you added the x-pipe... Chef's kiss. Please add my accolades to your efforts gentlemen, and keep having fun 🙂
  • @-MacCat-
The "cackle" that engine makes is superb. Very well done guys. The look on Jack's dad's face was glorious. The look on Jack's mum's face was " ... meh ... ", unsurprisingly. 🤣
  • @mchristr
"Whenever I listen to my 4V V10 just for fun, so do my neighbors." You guys have outdone yourselves with this video.
  • Sounds awesome. Best part is the fact you're putting it in a Continental and not something more mainstream
  • @CapablePimento
A cat, a Pringles can, a quacking ring tone, and an F bomb. Love it!
  • @NathanaelNaused
Once they put that X-Pipe on I was like oh shoot! That thing sounds nuts. Without it it didn't quite sound right and it was just so loud it didn't have any tone to it. Once you get some straight through mufflers on that X-Pipe it'll be CRAZY
  • @robertjames1324
This is the most enjoyable and mind blowing build I have seen. It is the most mind blowing because of the way you have managed to engineer the issues away. Because you blokes don't carry on with a heap of theatrical crap and it is obvious you are just real good blokes. No ego's. From Australia can you just keep doing this stuff. Of course there is plenty to go here still. Just saying keep up the great work.
  • @Yosser70
Did you guys see the recent video about it being stepped headers that gave F1 cars their unique sound? They definitely seem to be the key, even a 4 cylinder sound like an F1 car, if you fit stepped headers 😊
  • @mikeoldani1559
I always felt Ford (Lincoln) missed the boat by not offering a 32 valve Coyote V8 in the Continental. However, hearing that 40 valve V8 with equal length headers and the x-pipe, you’ve elevated the concept to a totally different (dare I say, “stratospheric”) level. I want. I want! I W A N T!!! That sounds absolutely amazing! Why did you go to such effort? Because you can! I cannot wait to see this project completed. I really want to experience this thing in person one day. What an amazing build!
