Nothing Jesus says is controversial. If He says it, it’s Truth. We need to bend our will to Him.
  • @123Mathzak
We need to stop expecting Jesus to bend to us, and start expecting us to bend to Jesus.
  • @Sadie0710
Love THE CHOSEN! I love my Savior Jesus Christ!!!!
  • @joannewman6014
Wow no one's ever explained this, about Yeshua cursing the fig tree, like this before. Thank you so much. 🙏🏽🙋
  • @jojow8416
Brandon, THANK YOU brother for this brilliant unloading of such a powerful scripture in the bible. You bring such life and light to events that most of us never see. God Bless and keep sharing your beautiful God given gifts.
  • @alvinaawong357
Bless you, Brother Brandon, for this powerful breakdown of the fig tree and the connection of Yeshua overturning the merchants tables in the Temple courtyard. In response to your question about the church today: I'm afraid that we too have become religious and silent. 😢
  • Finally! I was brought up in church and accepted. Christ when a teenager. Love His Word but until now never understood why Jesus cursed the fig tree. What a wonderful explanation!
  • Thank you Brandon, that was an excellent breakdown of those scriptures. The fig tree connection is powerful. God is continually teaching us and I pray to rely on His Holy Spirit to bring about that good fruit in our lives.
  • @mypurplelyon
I love listening to your teachings. I've heard and read the story of the fig tree, but never put all the pieces together. Even when watching biblical movies, I didn't put it together. Thank you Brandon, for explaining this. Now I can read and watch movies with a new understanding. I sure hope that Dallas includes this story into The Chosen because I'm sure there are many people, like me, that didn't put the puzzle pieces together to get the whole picture. It's so important. God Bless you. 🙏🙏🙏
  • @valeriecolon7956
Your enthusiasm motivates me to study the scriptures more deeply. Thank you for your devotion to the study and teaching of God’s word.

A curse from Jesus is a blessing to a believer. Like he overturned the tables and cursed their financial prosperity by destroying the market, he destroyed the barrier to worship him thus blessed them with eternal life instead of money which kills. He flipped their situation towards truth. When he curses, it always is on the evil within ,not on his spirit that resides in the believer. God can't go against himself.
  • @TexasHoosier3118
I hope the people in the comments actively share the Gospel with unbelievers. We have many refugees coming into this country from traditionally hard to access countries. But they need Jesus too. Some will reject, some will receive. Our job is to be obedient. Results are up to God.
  • This is AMAZING teaching!!! Thank you for the clarity!!! May God continue to bless this ministry.
  • Thank you, Brandon, for the way you explained this and connected to those of us who currently call ourselves Christian. This reminded me of the false teachers today.
  • @catabyte
Thanks for this thoughtful explanation. Although I’ve studied the Bible a lot as a religious studies minor, this passage always confused me. This makes a lot more sense than Jesus being hangry (I laughed out loud when you mentioned him possibly needing a Snickers).
  • @helenjohnson7583
What an important point and it’s so true today!! We covenant with Christ to serve Him and serve all His children. It’s so easy to turn church into a fun social group experience.
  • @peat_dont_repeat
Thank you, Thank you, and Thank you!!!! I have tried figuring out the meaning of this parable for the longest time. Thanks again for doing it for me. And, others.
  • @Tonismithdoll
This explained a point I have always wondered about. Knowing that there are two harvests on fig trees is key to understanding why Jesus cursed the tree. The Bible is the most amazing thing ever. Studying it for the past 50 years, reading it over and over, the way it is woven so perfectly from the beginning to the end, I am always able to glean more from it. It is a never-ending source of truth. Thank you
  • @jimwinchester339
I just saw the Chosen Season 4 at the theatre - all 8 episodes - and I swear it ends with his initial entry into Jerusalem. I don't recall seeing any of these scenes (yet).
  • Good afternoon to Gina and everyone, that butterfly 🦋 landed on you when we were talking about My daughter's wedding this morning, My daughter said thank you and everyone that congrats went out to her and her husband, she said Gina that when you said the beautiful words, God and Jesus bless you with the butterfly because you bless her and for that I thank Gina and everyone, and for the record her dad died back in 2018, so I had the honor of walking my daughter down the isle , made my year, again thank you Gina and everyone, May God and Jesus bless you always 🤗♥️🕯️🕊️🙏✝️🦋
