Every gaming peripheral company will tell you that their product is the best. They’ll all say that it gives you some type of advantage that you can’t get from their competitors.

They’ll claim that their creations are faster, lighter, have better battery life - and the list goes on.

So, would you believe me if I told you that there is a keyboard out there that can legitimately make you better at games like Counter-Strike and Valorant?

That’s exactly what Wooting are claiming. They’ve created some of the industry’s fastest, most-innovative boards - and many pros have already made the switch.

But is it true? Can their keyboard actually give you an edge over your opponents?

We're very excited that the esport scene is naturally using our keyboards due to an honest advantage. It's much appreciated you shared more about the backstory, since we wouldn't be around or get to this point without the support of many others believing in what we were working on.

After using the wooting 60he, my life changed completely. I married the love of my life, I now have a high paying job and my kids can finally go to college. Thank you wooting
  • u would not believe the things this keyboard alone has done for high-level osu gameplay
  • @trunkoovv
I got my wooting 60he like 3 weeks ago and my life changed forever. Currently it is the best.
  • As a csgo lvl 10 for years, and someone who just got a Wooting 60he, I can confirm it's game changer

im not a high level fps player, but honestly i bought into the hype and got one. The fact that you can modify this and make it your own is a huge selling point too. it doesnt have to look like a 'gaming keyboard' - one night of work and i put the pcb into a tofu60, lubed everything, and swapped the caps for pbt shinbun. you can have the best of both worlds with a 'custom' board added with the tech of wooting

I’ve been with wooting 60 for 3 months now. It’s definitely the best gaming keyboard you can buy. And it comes pretty close to a good custom keyboard in terms of build quality, sound, etc. I swapped the case, re-lubed the switches (didn’t even touch stabz) and it’s perfect now.

This would be so cool on a mouse as well. Games like Destiny 2 have some really cool details you can only see when barely pressing the triggers. I’ve also always hated not being able to control my speed with m&k when compared to controller. It’s harder to safely peak when your character takes a whole step out instead of a half step.

For anyone wondering, wooting is working on a tkl version and are making their own aluminum case for the wooting 60he in case you guys are planning on modding it. But there are a lot of 60% cases already out there you can use.

One small gripe I have is everyone calling it a pressure sensor, when its a hall effect sensor. Difference is that pressure sensors use newtons to see how much pressure is being pushed onto the keys, but hall effect sensors measure a difference in voltage between a magnets and a plate of metal with voltage going through it. Yes, I am a nerd, deal with it

It's always good to know that there are people who try to push the limit making the hardware better even though it is most likely going to be bought by less people.
  • @vietaki
I just really want Wooting to release a TKL keyboard already, I need those arrow and F-keys
  • @h2_
being able to finely tune when I get a key-up seems like a killer feature for a fighting game input device. I'd love to put these switches in my leverless controller, but it sounds like I need the pcb from the keyboard involved too, Sadge

if they make a 75% version of this id pay good money for it
  • @SaintDorado
I've had mine for about 6 months, modded it as well and yeah, it's feels like cheating. It's objectively better than any other keyboard for gaming. Like no question.

Got the wooting about 2 months ago. It's insane. The customization is what makes the difference for me. If I hovered my fingers over I feel like it would activate too early but set certain keys to how I feel it should feel to me. I feel this should be the new standard automatically when it comes to a high end keyboards 🤞

i wonder if we might get to a point where analog keyboards become a norm and people start using/building hotswap keyboards for certain switches. i imagine if analog becomes a standard then soon there will be an option for all games to have a certain level of keyboard pressure that switches a character from walking to running for example (kinda like a controller deadzone i guess?). in this case, i can already imagine serious gamers or enthusiasts using different switches for say w-a-s-d or even spacebar to achieve the best feel and control for smooth, linear movement while also having the fastest, lightest switches for other keys for their mechanical advantages.

Amazing, an actual review, with actual info, and not driven by affiliate links. Thanks for making the internet a bit better.

Putting the mic down on the table the keyboard is actually on also (or mounting it on the table), creates a bunch of rumble on the audio tracks while hitting the keyboard. Hopefully this helps you adjust in the future.
