Predator 5000 Inverter Generator Harbor Freight - DIY Propane and Natural Gas Conversion Kit

I just received my Tri-fuel system from Grenergy this afternoon and connected it to my Natural Gas supply. This system works great! Tested running the RV A/C on Natural Gas as well as Propane on the system and the Predator 5000 pulled the load without problems on both. Very happy. You really can't go wrong with this system, if you put together all the parts for it and go through all the headaches that Grenergy has already gone through for you to ensure everything is right, you come out way ahead of the price curve just ordering the kit. The demand-regulator wheel mount is a particularly nice bit of engineering. Satisfied customer.

I’m an engineer, and after looking through this gentleman’s setup, he did everything right. Using a UL listed flow regulator, using the right quick connect fittings (very convenient!), dialing in the fuel flow using an engine test lab (big plus and impressive you went to this extent), providing the fuel adjustment tools for switching between propane/natural gas, using the right hoses, and crimping them correctly. Very impressed, I would take the same approach from a nerdy engineering perspective. Even measured the exhaust emissions to check if engine is running rich/lean at the prescribed setting. Very nicely done my friend; I’m buying. Even though I can probably build it cheaper myself, the headaches and risk of not getting the right parts, is worth the slight markup to me (ran the numbers about 30-40% markup which is very standard). Just set up the system. Straight forward and easy. Great tutorial. Look, I hate buying stuff when it turns out to be either not well made or just plain crap. I bought this system because you said it was made with high quality components. I'm thrilled to confirm every part I received was high quality, stuff I would have picked out myself. Very pleased with this purchase.

Love the well thought out video and good descriptions of all the issues you've gone through with this. These 5000 inverter generators are really nice but I wish they had a 240v output too. For now it looks like the 9500 inverter model is still the best bet for that. Is there any ETA on when the tri-fuel kit for the 9500 will be available/back-in-stock?
