the fact that one solution required having 2 instances of the game open is insane

My opinion in the first game progressed from "seems okay" to "kinda cool", then to "oh shit this rules" really fast. What a cool little game!

These desktop icons got me dying. šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

feet (weird) feet (not weird) What exactly is Tyler doing with those?
  • Woah. HopSlide is crazy. That seems like a pain to code, but it was totally worth it for the reveal of how to hold down two buttons at once.

I dont know if the editor just put those folder there or tyler just thought "it might look funny if i put it here"

hMmM tHis gAme sEems fAmiliar :} but you should know that the same dev of this game made a game called 'windowframe' that was about resizing windows instead, which may have been more thematic to combine into one video, and there's a few other meta games like this actually :) but this game is great, especially as a game jam game lol

It's really cool to see games play with the concept of using windows as a puzzle mechanic! They often make for some interesting puzzles/gameplay

The background is so unhinged. Feet pics, and so many he needs 2 folders, giraffes (respectable), and editor feeding schedule, and BTD7 leaks

    ā€œFeet (weird)ā€ ā€œFeet (not weird)ā€ ā€œGiraffesā€ ā€œEditor feeding scheduleā€ ā€œBtd7 leaksā€ What are these folders

That first game really feels like a tech demo for a much longer, Bunburrows-esque puzzle game. Like, the base game is a dozen different, simple instances of classic game genres, only for you to reach the end of it and gain the ability to make the different games interact. Imagine a 9x9 minesweeper game giving the hints for a blank soduku card, or playing tetris to make a stairway for a platformer guy to climb up. That mechanic with the window positioning could be used to 'link' different games and start the meta puzzles. I could even see some lore develop around it with a "There is no Game"-style narrator trying to test their games for bugs and constantly commenting on how the player finds unique ways to break them.

I can see that Tyler is very into the common length measurement unit in the US, I wonder how many of those he has

I missed like the first 40 seconds of the first game because i was busy staring at the folders šŸ’€šŸ’€

    ā€œEditor feeding scheduleā€ ā€œbloons td7 leaksā€ ā€œfeet weird & not weirdā€ and then there is giraffes

The first game feels like it has the potential of Partrick's Parabox in terms of mechanics. Like, imagine different worlds, and you need to lime up your windows to connect the different worlds, open a second copy of the slider window to have 1 room link with 2 rooms for shenanigans, or using 2 slider windows for toggle blocks that show 2 of a color, a 3rd window perhaps, or even a slider inside a platforming level. Maybe 2 layered slider with toggle blocks that only activate if the upper layer slider is over them.
  • Tyler must have a massive feet pic collection if he needs 2 folders
  • @Forgotten89
Bloons td7 leaks...Tyler know what to add on a background
