MTG Cheater Gets Caught by Their Own Camera

He's still cheating on Spelltable...I literally played against him yesterday. He has Korvold and a different user name but his voice-hand combo was unmistakable.
Edit: For clarity, he had Korvold and 3 cards in hand after drawing (I asked), Korvold was bounced at his upkeep. He had 5 lands and a Mana Crypt up. He played a land, cast Korvold, player 3 cast a Mana Drain, he responded by hard casting a Deflecting Swat, which resolved. He then cast Dockside Extortionist and should have had zero cards in hand. I responded with Delay, and he responded with Veil of Summer. I instantly called him out for cheating and after a brief argument he closed the room.

This dude deadass plays at my lgs and he is always gloating and talking about his deck list. Absolutely hilarious turn of events to find this on my page

I've played against this guy in person numerous times, and in multiple cEDH tournaments...this happens nearly every game he plays. I called him out once and the amount of defense taken was akin to the Great Wall. Glad he's caught/exposed on a reputable YouTube channel. Thank you Nikachu!

The atrocious acting is what really sent me, man's yapping is giving the game away lmao.

His language alone was a red flag that he was cheating.

I remember when this happened. Kaos staff was trying to be sympathetic to the cheater- it was a whole thing

The thing I caught was him saying he kept a 1 lander, then proceeded to say he topdecked dockside, & proceeded to play a land & the dockside. Where did that land 2nd land come from?

Watched a K’rrik player (in person) Demonic Tutor and grab 2 cards, acting like he’s trying to decide between them, then puts one into his hand and the other on top of his library.

He then “shuffled” while carefully watching as he moved cards except for the very top card and then didn’t present his deck to anyone for a cut and put it as far away from the other 3 of us as possible on his playmat (it was a pick-up game at the LGS, so I normally don’t care to cut decks in casual games and did not cut before starting this one).

A whole series of red flags went off in my mind and I went out of my way to say, “no, I’ll cut it” and leaned across and cut it and he proceeded to flounder the rest of the game.

how did other players not call him out immediately when they saw him shuffle deck face up

Man. I remember sharing my story before on this channel.

For those unaware, it was about calling out this one guy who tried cheating by blatantly shuffling his Commander deck face up in front of me. I shuffled then cut his deck face down, so he got mad and said it wasn't necessary for me to do that as the game was casual. I responded by saying that he was cheating out loud.
After playing, i never saw that guy again at my LGS.

Sorry about telling this again, Nikachu, but this video reminded me of that story.

cheating at CEDH is like stealing from kindergarten .

I just played against him on spelltable yesterday. I swung at him for 38 on turn 3 with winota and knocked him out of the game. Felt good about that.
