Love the action, the switch caliber system, the lightweight and the look. Are the groups shot at 50 yards that we normally see or 100 yards? Will we see another video with the 22 Mag barrel?

it's fantastic to see a budget-friendly option with a 22LR straight pull action.

I wish ruger would make the 10/22 in 22 mag again
  • @StoicSpeaks
I’m not blown away by the accuracy for a bolt gun
  • @WrongTimeWatch
Needing a spacer for every 10/22 magazine is kind of a bummer. I might still get one anyway.

Just ordered this rifle. The fact that you can switch out the trigger with other after market Ruger 10/22 target triggers, and also the magazine makes it a cool little rifle. Plus the removable barrel feature.

This would actually be neat if they made a third barrel for 17hmr since 22 mag and 17hmr uses the same magazine

I'd liked to seen some "CCI Standard Target" group through that rifle as I feel it's their most accurate offering! ❤❤❤ All I could hear was the trigger breaking😮 That suppressor is sure doing a fine job!

I think, given the reviews of both the Hammerli and Ruger Precision you have done, I would opt for the Ruger. Its cheaper and like you said you can add an aftermarket barrel to the Ruger that will really increase the accuracy. The quick change feature is nice on that Hammerli but with the importance of barrel lockup in the action I would consider that a weak point. I have a Tac 22 that is very accurate so I was kind of hoping the Force would be that kind of accurate.

Wish I found your channel sooner. I was shopping for a .22 recently and decidedly did NOT want a 10/22 or any semi-auto, but beyond that was kinda lost and bought a Savage MarkII BTV. Liked and subscribed.

love everything about it except the barrel to action connection. I would be a buyer if I could dream up a way to lock those two parts someway consistently. Yeah, target rifle it is. But as you know with a bit of tweaking, a standard 10/22 can be made into a decent shooter well under half that group size. You are dead on correct, the ammo is probably causing a lot of your spread. Just found your channel and sub'd. Have shot rimfire 22 for several (too many) decades... still love it.
  • Thanks for another great video! Personally I have NEVER had CCI Green tag outperform regular old CCI standard velocity.
  • @toml802
Hmm so some gunsmith said "What can I do with this air/hydraulic quick connector?"
  • @tacocin
Nice! Love the barrel swap design! Wouldn't be hard for them to add 17 WSM. Really needs an adjustable trigger that would take it down to about 2 pounds.

Side lever like a lot of PCP air rifles are nowadays. I like it, but unlike PCP air rifles you'll need to do paperwork for your suppressor. I've found I can do any hunting I used to do with .22lr with PCP air rifles.
  • @chancechapman
I love my pws summit, just wish it extracted reliably every time. Pws barrel was excellent. Taken many squirrels and some raccoons with it. CCI quiet with a suppressor is about as Hollywood quiet as I’ve found.

Great vid as usual--i have a comment on the video you did on short /long barrel 22 shotshells. You proved that longer the shot cup is in contact with rifeling larger the pattern, this being said the short barrel shotguns like shockwave might benefit from a rifeled (slug barrel?) since the 14 inch barrel they have still gives a tighter than desirable pattern for close quarter home defense. This might make a good topic for a competent utuber like you. Cheers

The old Browning T-Bolt .22 has a straight pull bolt and is a very accurate rifle. Nice video! 🙏🏼
