  • Very nice Kenny so many folks have no idea if there wood is good to burn or not . I’ve actually had guys come out with there meters a test the wood before we dumped it to see if we were being truthful in saying it was dry .

Those little things are pretty cool tools to make sure you're burning good seasoned wood. Awesome having the next generation helping out too. Cheers guys, happy Sunday hopefully it's dryer than what we're getting into today 🍻🍻
  • @JelenOutDoors
Kenny , there is a good reason to split all of your firewood for drying as the moister meter indicated pretty high moister content for those rounds that had been cut a while ago. Great little gadget. The youngster did a good job helping out.

Excellent review, Kenny. I was surprised at how much moisture there was in that 16-month-old round. I got a kick out of your helper, Owen. He did a good job too. πŸ™‚

How's she goin'? That's a fine assistant you had today Kenny! That moisture meter looks like the cat's meow. I figured the birch would still be pretty green. Nice to have that meter to check the wood eh! Take care!!
  • @agesadventures
That looks like a great tool! Especially, for you with all the wood you cut and stack😁😁
  • Like 30 here from Mr. Garry. Good to split most but not all. I like to use β€œrounds” at night, they last longer in the firebox of our Pacific Energy! Great video. Your helper is very clever!

Hey Kenny,! That seems like a nice meeter, it's handy to have a reliable meeter around the woodyard for sure. Take care my friend!
  • @EverydayProjects
Nice job. That’s a handy tool to have, and it’s so compact. Good idea to show the difference between species and time dried. Your helper really got the hang of it by the end. I’ll look for one of those moisture meters. Good job, KennyπŸŽ‰

  • Hey Kenny Great moisture testing :) A lot of splitting that load of heavy stuff, Good teaching Kenny ! that little man will know everything there is to know about a successful firewood Business by the time he can run a saw :)
  • Congratulations on 1,000. Keep up the good work! Owen rocked it being a kid is what it’s all about. I really like my small Erik Hill as it’s easy to have around being smaller. Have you considered building a splitter catch tray for the splitter? It helps a TON!
  • Great video Kenny. The young fella did a great job. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹πŸͺ΅πŸͺ“πŸ”₯
