Dr. Shaw, I’m a hairstylist. I highly recommend “double cleansing” your hair with an oil based cleanser first (like a facial cleansing balm, coconut oil, or any oil based cleanser before stepping in the shower. Or an oil based cleanser with a pump in the shower works great too for convenience). Your products and any scalp residue will melt away. You might need to wash twice afterwards with your regular shampoo to get all of the oils and residues out. It works really well for all kinds of oil based scalp conditions also.

Beauty of Joseon radiance cleansing balm is a forever repurchase for me! Works great and one of the few balms that doesn't break me out. And doesnt irritate my eyes!
