蠔油雞翅|超簡單的家常菜

Braised Chicken Wings with Ginger, Scallion and Oyster Sauce is a home-cooked dish that my mother has been making since I was a child. The ingredients are very simple. It only uses the basic seasonings commonly found in Chinese cuisine in ordinary home kitchens, and the method is very simple!

Stewed Chicken is very common dish in Chinese recipe. Today my recipe is very simple, even a novice cook can easily cook it! This dish is also very suitable as a regular dish. You can marinate it first and put it in the refrigerator crisper. Then when you get home from get off work in the evening, you can just put it in the pot and cook it. Dinner is ready in an instant! It’s also great to cook a little more and bring it as a lunch box tomorrow!

🍽️Recipe (ingredients)

400g Chicken (you can use any part of chicken, I used chicken wings today)
1 Green onion (Scallion)
2 slices Ginger
2 cloves Garlic

A little White Sesame Seeds (sprinkle when serving)

Marinade Sauce:
1 tablespoon Oyster Sauce
1.5 tablespoons Soy Sauce
2 slices Ginger
1 tablespoon Brown Sugar
2 tablespoons Shaoxing wine
A pinch of White Pepper
1 tablespoon Sesame Oil



📢 IMPORTANT NOTICE
1. You can use any kind of chicken you like, and the processing method is the same regardless of the part. If the whole chicken leg is larger, just extend the stewing time to cook the chicken.
2. Fry first and then add the sauce to stew, which will be more aromatic and delicious. When adding the sauce after frying, if the sauce liquid is too less and the chicken is not soaked, or when you flip the chicken through cooking, or you taste it feel too salty, you can add some water so that the chicken can be stewed and colored until the juice is soaked, and there is enough soup to allow enough time to cook the chicken before the sauce dries up.
3. The flavor of Shaoxing wine is very suitable for this dish, and the meat marinated in cooking wine is more delicious. You can also use ordinary cooking rice wine instead. If you are at overseas no any Chinese cooking wine, you can also use Japanese sake or the like, or just skip it.
