If you keep that marble rolling pin in the fridge, it will be a dream for anything sticky like biscuits

"Just put a stick of butter in it, and it's gonna be good." 😊 Wise words we can all live by. 💕
  • What a delightful woman! Is it wrong for me to wish our good Lord will come back for us quickly so that we can be with all our amazing brothers and sisters in Christ?!!! I am ready to celebrate with all my eternal family!!!❤️❤️❤️

That red pot is wonderful. I can't imagine getting that for a gift. Bless the person 🙏
  • I like your biscuits idea. When I was first married 50 years ago, my landlady told me to use Jiffy Mix rolled biscuit recipe. So after the long process of cooking the chicken, I'd roll out the dough really thin. And drop in the dumplings. Your biscuits in the can are a LOT easier.

Thank God for you to make Cooking, baking much easier.

My dad was the cook in our home and he would always put one or two bay leaves in the pot when making Chicken & Dumplings. M'm! M'm! Good!
  • My Mama taught me how to make chicken and dumplings with homemade dumplings. Now seeing how you make canned biscuits, it’s as much work or more than homemade.
  • I look forward to watching you and your hubby! I love your recipes. Please don’t ever change. I especially love your closing “ Like mama used to!” Not everyone was blessed with a special mom like yours, it makes me feel good just watching you. Lots of Love!

I just ate but could still eat those chicken-n-dumplings! Looks delish!!!!!!😋
  • My Southern grandmother always had some boiled potato chunks ready to add to Chicken and Dumplings... that way, if somehow there ended up being not enough dumplings, there was an extra starch to throw in and soak up the delicious broth. She also added a little bit of shredded carrot (but I like it better without the carrot). And yes, after age 65 she too used canned biscuits to make the dumplings!

I'm pregnant and have such a huge craving for chicken and dumplings so I went out and bought all the stuff to make them!! I chose this recipe specifically because of how thick your accent is 😉 I have faith this is gonna be the best chicken and dumplings I've ever had!

Looks delicious! My momma always made chicken with dumplings just like this until, like you, I lost her to alzheimers 6 years ago. She raised me and my 2 baby brothers as a single mother. Everything we ate was homemade. Thank you for teaching me and raising me right momma 🙏
  • love it. we use cream of chicken and cream of celery, use a rotisserie chicken, canned biscuits, chicken broth, and half and half. yummy 😋 love like mama did❤️
  • I am so glad I saw this today. I only have a can of croissants but I'm going to roll them out and cut them just as a trial. I don't feel like driving 10 miles to closest store today. Thanks for this glorious recipe.
  • U R My New Best Friend, I made them today n they r all that, thank u 🙏 Yandy. ❤❤❤

I just love you. My granny when she was teaching me how to cook always said don't be lazy. Recipes are made a certain way and handed down because they are good and right. I sure miss her. When my granny got older she used biscuits too. Thank you for sharing this. Memories are wonderful
  • I tried this and I'm a caterer restaurant owner for 40 yrs..it was OK if you're not a picky eater I prefer real homemade dumplings but I just love this woman she's so genuine and her recipes are wonderful.
  • This was the first thing my Granny taught me to cook Great memories.
