Detective Pikachu Returns does look cartoonish like the first game, which is a good thing. However, it is hinted that it was originally going to be a 3DS game. It might be rushed.

I can already see a Deoxys/Keldeo style sidequest to catch Celebi in The Teal Mask without an event, i.e. in The Timeless Woods.

Sazare would be the best character by design that she is built and dressed like a girl unlike Chiri. Even then, the amount of school activities in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is already enough for me to quit since Pokémon is supposed to be about leaving school and home to start adventuring and battling with monsters. Like SwSh with DLC, SV with DLC can never improve the games' broken and ugly messes.

@linky one thing I don't understand is why they don't let us pick a partner in multibattles it's almost pointless to have it and frankly a waist of space. Like why i can't I double battle with one of my friends online against other teams.

I don’t really care about the Pokemon Anime anymore it has just gotten a whole lot worse ever since after the DP Anime happened up until now it’s now utter garbage especially the new Pokemon Anime being the Horizons one getting rid of Ash was a stupid idiotic mistake decision by the Pokémon Company themselves and being replaced with a new protagonist is even worse so the Anime itself is therefore considered to be dead.

This was so disappointing no announcement of a GEN five remake no old, Pokémon games, coming to the switch just nothing other than the DLC and spin offs

This presents was so shit. The only good thing was the dlc i guess and also Detective Pikachu i guess. They didn't even give us gens 1-3. What a fucking disappointment
