Conte jeopardised Sarri's year from the jump. Imagine what Sarri could have done if he had a dependable striker like Costa. And that Chelsea team used to create a lot of chances.

Alonso hit the post about 6 times this season alone. He was truly one of the unsung heroes who played for the badge; age caught up with him at the end but if more of our players had his mentality and shooting range, we would be challenging evert season. Finished 3rd. Lost the league cup final on pens and won the Europa League. He should have stayed. Never understood why he chose to leave. He’s the only Chelsea manager in the past 20+ years to win a final so comfortably. He seemingly lost the dressing room mid way through the season but got it back again towards the end to finish strong. No other chelsea manager has ever managed to do those two things.

Under sarri we started quite slow into the game slow passing.. but adding their own creativity and the fact that Sarri free Hazard movement to do whatever he want was a great decision by Sarri..

Sarri made us realize that Kante was not a DM. Before then we all thought he was a Dm. Sarri is underated. What he did with hazard and loftus cheek too

Although Alonso had his short comings, he was one hell of a lb .

We had an amazing start and the players looked like they knew what they were doing, as soon as a few losses came, the team lost confidence and other teams knew how to expose us. That's why we had games where we conceded by 4,5,6. Nonetheless we still won Europa League and made Carabao cup final so it's an undeserved sacking

Kepa conceded lots of goals that season, sometimes I wonder how some goals enter the net 😑.

This was a really exciting season. That said, Hazard carried us through matches and we really got thumped too often.
