Young male ringtail with broken jaw eating well

Published 2011-12-01
Thank you to Berwick Veterinary Hospital for their caring attitude towards our injured wildlife and assistance in providing medication.

This young ringtail was found on the ground after falling from a tree onto pavement. His injuries were assessed by an experienced wildlife carer. He had a broken jaw, bruising to his left arm from the fall, was severely dehydrated and in a lot of pain for a number of days, making it difficult for him to eat and drink.

This young male will be released back into the wild once he has recovered and is ready to go.
