i feel like not only is this song about a relationship, it also signifies the start of somi’s venture out in the world as an independent young woman. (when she’s indoors, she’s just cycling through sleep and waiting, but as she “breaks” out of waiting, she knows she is the one to decide for herself) at the end of the mv, it’s like she’s chasing after her goals she has for herself even if it gets tiring. somi also just graduated from high school a few months ago ! and as she said in the premiere video, she’s also asking herself what she’s waiting for; to take the initiative. and i just found that a really nice message wrapped up in a pretty song for anyone who has also graduated and reached similar milestones and to keep going✨🥺i love her and everything she’s worked so hard to achieve over the years ;-;

This is Somi's best song. The vocals, visuals, instrumental… and the iconic "Ring the Alarm" Not known by everyone, but, the best.

This song is such a banger I don't get why it's so underrated this song needs a lot of recognition.

Somi didn’t get so much recognition for this song, when it’s one of her best songs! “Ring the Alarm” is forever iconic!

I’m happy Somi is in THEBLACKLABEL and debut solo. She has the freedom to participate in her own music (which is almost every singers’ dreams), creating her own choreography, be herself, shine bright. I remember she mentioned something about having to constrain her voice in IOI because her voice stood out too much. Like Teddy once mentioned in "I AM SOMI", he sees Somi as "an artist" who owns her content, not some moneymaker for the company. Somi also tear up thinking of her horrible training days back in JYP for lacking in dancing. I'm glad Somi is now in the YG family. Somi, you deserve the world!!!

Somi's last song was cheerful also know as Birthday and this one is a little darker. IT'S AMAZING

All her mvs have above 100m except for this...whyyy. This song is such a bop and made me her fan<3

i feel line the sound that teddy was going for was something that would also appeal to the western audience, i think this might help somi gain more attention globally, but actually this song is such a bop and i can see it doing really well overseas
