  • YOU NEVER QUIT! You better dig until you find rock floor. We are to invested in this now. We love this!
  • Never felt the need to leave a comment before but you have forced my hand. Every young boy got his start digging holes in his back yard. And every boy and dreamed of finding a cave. Then those boys grew up and became men. But those men never stop dreaming of the cave. Boys and Men alike will always dream about the cave because we are who we are, it is a part of our DNA. And then you found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. A REAL hole that turned into a REAL cave. And that cave needs to be excavated. This is why you can never quit. You must keep going, if not for yourself then for the inner child that dwells within each of us. Do it for them. Love the vids!
  • Matt, having that truck running near the hole you need to get some ventilation going into the cave, you're in a confined space and it will be filling up with carbon monoxide, you won't know until it's too late.
  • 2 things. I’m bringing y’all an air mover this Saturday. You’ll need to get the duct work. Get a HIGH powered pressure washer. You’ll be able to wash away the dirt and small rocks, and remove the bigger rocks much quicker!! A good high powered pressure washer will literally cut through that lime stone like butter. The surrounding area in Texas is know to be very porous, the Edwards aquifer is HUGE!!
  • Don't give up. We just widened a hole in our wall and found another 300 feet of cave! It can be the next rock you move that opens it up!
  • @TheBurnsClan
Matt you've gotta create a new channel called Under The Ranch and have it all about the cave process and everything related.
  • Barbed wire came south, to North Texas in the late 1870s. That nail bord was most likely part of an early fence post before the steel T-post was invented and became popular around 1916 with variations still used today.

In the 1920's people fought to not have to work in the caves mining. In 2010 the most popular game was Minecraft. Now we are digging out the caves of the past for the fun of it. The moral of the story... People yearn for the caves!!!
  • Can we get a dedicated Mikey video???? Like interview and life story. Hes such a character. We love him
  • @nerfitdude
Not allowed to quit. We’re all living vicariously through you rn
  • Demolition fans decades from now will look back on the beggining of the cave era. A time before they reached the center of the earth and turned it into a gun vault.
  • Please, please get some confined space, air movers, and air meters. Especially if you're going to have that truck running above the hole. I don't want anyone getting sick! Love the content!
  • Hearing Mickey cheer on Jenna was the most wholesome thing ever!! 🤘and she looked badass doing it as well! #winchwench
  • The thing that makes your videos so good is the comradery between y’all. And, having Jenna as not only a great worker, but a cheerleader makes it even better.
  • Bruh i REALLY want Colin Furze to come and see this. Dudes been digging tunnels under his house for the last couple years hes an expert in moving dirt out of small places now!! He would have SUCH a blast helping yall.
  • @justcallmejim
after matt joking about finding gold in the cave i did a quick search and found that the Guadalupe River is known to have gold. id like to see you guys try some panning
  • @DWSOutdoors
In The Cave is what I am calling this channel from now on 🤣
  • @waderobb1
Love the excitement of the cave. It's time to review the safety concerns such as metering the air quality, pumping in some fresh air and capping the hole or putting up significant barricades when it is unattended. Might be a good time for a taste of professional review.
  • @mikezamos
There will be NO quitting until you reach the middle of the earth. This is some of the best content I've seen lately. Good job guys!
  • @mosconi0359
When that big rock broke into three pieces and Matt kept calling it a "fragile rock" all I kept thinking of was Jim Henson's muppet show called Fraggle Rock!
