  • One really important pointer I have is please just stick to official product. Do not buy “mystery packs” or “mystery slabs” from these third party companies. At the end of the day, nothing you pull will ever be to your benefit as these companies are there to make MONEY. Buy etbs, boxes, promos, any official product. Don’t fall into the trap and happy hunting

thank you for being a Pokemon Creator who's not screaming <3
  • @NexisAlexis
honestly this is the best generation to get back into pokemon card collecting! With the pull rates being the absolute best so far!

Thank you for this video, I just got back into collecting because of 151. Have already made some great memories because of the community. Pulled the charizard yesterday and helped a little boy start his own 151 binder collection with all the bulk. To those starting out the lingo and all the different rarity levels can be overwhelming.

Just dusted off my childhood collection (about 500ish, mostly cards from '06-'09) and I had so much fun sorting them all again! I've been slowly adding them to a deck tracker. I picked up a binder and added in all my favourites since they've been in a box for a decade or so. I fully intend to collect one of every pokemon, but I'll need way more storage space lol.

I started collected this month after buying the 151 etb for myself as a Christmas present just to "dip my toes back in" as I used to collect when the original base set was released. After not following Pokemon cards for 20 years, I have to say that as a beginner collector, right off the bat it feels good getting multiple cards with a foil/holo attribute to them in every booster pack! But it certainly feels even better when one of them happens to be a full art card! I'm definitely loving how much the cards have evolved since the last time I handled them, and I'm excited to see where this new hobby goes! Thanks for all the great videos, they're incredibly informative!

I stopped the video and bought that trainer box the instant you showed that snorlax card. That is art. That is exactly why I want to get back into tcg.

I think this is the perfect starting video. Honestly listening to your intro reminded me why I love opening packs and being in the hobby.

This video is so helpful. Introduced my son to Pokémon last year. He’s now very into them but I had no idea where to begin on the cards. This video is great.
  • As someone who's gotten more into the hobby since 2020, I've definitely accumulated a pretty decent amount of cards. And I'm very happy with what I had the priveledge to add to my collection.😊 Speaking of amazing cards, I opened more Crown Zenith today. My local Walmart had one more booster bundle in stock and it was absolutely stacked! I pulled 2 more chase cards, which now means I'm only 4 more cards away from completing the set! For anyone out there new to the hobby I definitely suggest Crown Zenith if you want to get spoiled with pulls!
  • I used to collect Pokémon cards as a kid because I’ve always preferred the card game but unfortunately as I’ve moved so much then, a bunch got damaged. Thank you for this video, it really helps me know where to start again ❤️

I bought my first ETB back in December just to rip some packs open and forward to 3 weeks ago i got myself a binder and sleeves and start collecting 151 set my only problem is 151 is not popular where i live and expensive so it will be abit hard to complete the set but so far so much fun and satisfying experience cant wait to complete my whole 207 cards 😍
  • @The_Cuber
I would have bought the 151 etb but, there was a paldea evolved etb for sale at 28 dollars and it was a fun set to open.
  • @Simon_Gray
I just purchased this pack, i will pick it up on the weekend. My step brother had pokemon cards when i was a kid but i never had my own set
  • @kuyapack
Just recently got back into collecting this year bc of 151 had so much fun opening OG Pokémon cards
  • @Webmonkeys
I thought getting the 1st edition packs would be easy… nope! I grew up collecting cards when younger but 30 years later here I am and wanting to jump back in to the world of Pokémon! Great video btw and if you happen to have any suggestions for decks to look into let me know!
  • @BigPat216
I think I have every ETB since Sword and Shield released. Such a fun item. Good value, I display them all even while opened, put the common cards in the boxes, use the sleeves for good cards then put in a binder.

What a brilliant video. Great advice, simple and practical.
