  • Fun fact: To add to the realism of this scene, the director brutally murdered Robert Pattinson by having him repeatedly stabbed with medieval shanks.

Hollywood doesn't understand how much we love medieval and ancient wars in movies.
  • @Pthumerian01
Henry taking a step back and putting his sword in the ground realizing he wasn't worth the effort and letting his men finish him was such a chad move
  • The fact that they actually used warhammers to get past the armor rather than swords is so satisfying to me as a historic weapons nerd

Agincourt was fought on a freshly-ploughed field, after a night of rain. By the time the French Battles reached the English lines they were exhausted just from wading through the mud, all the time being shot at by the English archers. Henry had 5,000 archers at Agincourt, who, in one minute, could put 60,000 arrows in the air.

"Imagine a King who fights his own battles. Wouldn't that be a sight."

The Dauphin unable to find his footing in the mud seems like such a great metaphor for his more luxurious life lived and how unaccustomed he was to a harder more brutal and ugly environment which King Henry clearly had some experience in. Even though the dauphin probably trained extensively in fighting. He did so on a ‘marble’ or solid flooring most likely.

Robert Pattinson's just gonna keep delivering amazing performances until the internet is forced to concede that he's a good actor who happened to play a vampire once.
  • @sebjep
"Are you scared young Henry?" "No i just walked into your camp alone and challenged you to a 1v1?"
  • @Born2beSPRA
True king is the stuntman who took a horse to the chest multiple times
  • My favorite part about this movie is one guy is not overpowering multiple enemies they’re fighting for their lives

This show is what made me a believer in Timothee as an actor. Afterward I had no worries about him in Dune. I knew he' d do great.

I would love to give a single nod and have 4 people know exactly what I want them to do.

I LOVE the portrayal of Falstaff in this film. When the moment came - he put away foolery, drunk Ed’s and debauchery. He was a highly accomplished, tactically brilliant soldier who stepped forward and effectively saved an army with his advice and knowledge.

This should have been a 10 part series it was so well done. The music is bloody epic. I can’t stop listening to it.

When they make the Frenchman speak with a British accent and the Britishman speak with a French accent 😂😂😂
  • @kev3d
"Come then, King of England." slips "Oh merde..."

Timothee Chalamet has been killing it the last 5 years. He's already such a heavy hitter and he's only gotten started it feels. He might actually be the Lisan al-Gaib of the cinematic world.
  • I loved how it shows him getting fired up. Actually quite athletic. The quick prayer and the nervous but deft flourish with his hammer. He looks competent, regarding the moment with a sobriety Falstaff would be proud of.
