From every video talking about potential theories for the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC, there's one piece of the puzzle that everyone seems to have missed out on. Today, I'll be going over what that is, as well as my personal theory for the DLC.

  • another peice of evidence that megas might return is that roaring moons violet Pokedex entry says that "According to an article in a dubious magazine, this Pokémon has some connection to a phenomenon that occurs in a certain region" meaning that scarlet and violet are in the mega timeline.

May I suggest turning down the music? I could hardly hear your commentary

Bro, ive had LITERALLY the same concept of Diancie being the focus of the DLC in my head for days now, the two key differences being that i had no story/DLC layout behind it and that mega evolution wasn't involved, but you do defeat it in a Tera Raid Battle
  • I hope the DLC comes out on my birthday because I need something to get on my birthday so it won't be as mediocre as expected

So if I got the video right, Carbink is in reality a Paldean pokémon. And btw when you rematch Steven in ORAS, he has a Carbink, so could this mean that he went to Area Zero and caught a Carbink? what's the deal with that? well the deal is that if I'm not wrong, the Hoenn games elapse before Scarlet and Violet, and in that time, the Area Zero was closed. Or he just caught it in the Reflection Cave in Kalos.

I highly doubt any of this would happen but it would be fun as heck.

I love diancie so much! I hope you're right, it's a great concept

The legendary that lives in the crater, is actually dudunsparce’s next evolution. That big dome was actually just an xxxxxxxxxxxl extra dudunsparce segment. Yes thats right! A brand new 4 segment extra fat Dunsparce named Duhddudunsplenty. Turns out Dunsparce were beghind the terastal phenomonon all along!
  • I think it would be More likely a Poke-Andorra, it is to small to be a full on region, so it is the best option for Andorra

Fun idea, but personally don't think megas are going to come back. Whatever they do will just double down on tera Pokemon (maybe special forms for specific tera types of specific Pokémon idk). Also unlikely the professor will call you up to help because "you're the champion", as SwSh's DLC was playable very early on, and I don't think they'd make a statement that conflicts with your progress in the mainline game. Edit: Also SwSh did NOT have all the starters. In fact it was missing quite a few region's.
  • The fact that the XY legends aren't coming in the home update only helps the idea that they may have something to do with the DLC. It makes sense. Gamefreak probably doesn't want you to be able to get your hands on one of them before experiencing whatever plot their involved in first. This theory would also leave many gaping holes in the narrative of SV. Diancie being the mystery doesn't explain the paradox presented by arvin at the end of the game, heath losing his memories of writing down notes similar to the ones found in turo/sada's work spaces, and many other weird occurrences in area zero. Carbink was likely added alongside Diancie because they are related in a pretty big way. I don't think we can't get any content on them, but it would definitely be way smaller in scale.

I really like this theory bro! Good stuff!!!!

I think you're onto something with this but certain aspects are a bit of a stretch, Kalos feels difficult to pass up so I do think that's where the DLC is primarly taking place, Diance has the potential to be what it's centered around but since it's already connected to Carbink I think that's already enough of a reason why both are transferable, However the big issue I have is Mega Evolution, If they were to add the mechanic then that introduces a huge competetive advantage over those that don't have the DLC not to mention the complication of having two buttons for gimmics since Tera isn't restricted by a Held Item such as Z Moves were... If Mega Diance does make a return it'll probably be similar to Mega Rayquaza which dosen't require a Mega Stone
  • @OddMoonlight
Well, as much as I like your idea for how the DLC would play out and the evidence that may lead to this, I would still believe the DLC, whether it would be separated into two parts or not, would still have the possible third legendary and a new character that also has ties to the third legendary in some way, but that could be just me. I mean, heck, I already made an OC because of my hypothetical idea of how I interpret the DLC playing out. P.S. the OC goes by the name Paradoja.
  • I do hope they will bring more Pokémon that mega evolves because, Lopunny isn’t there, Venusaur,Blastoise,Latios and Latias too. So they will bring back mega, but without these? 😵‍💫
  • @ianlogan6280
Ngl, now that you mention it, the drawing of the disc pokemon looks somewhat like mega diancie
  • Omg, the story sounds so like how Pokémon Company would do it. Lol 😂 nice 👍🏽 work
