I love the idea of a tent being up off the ground like that, it would make older/bad joints folk able to get up without so much struggle!

Not weird. Brilliant. It's off the ground. It's a cot. It's a covered camp chair. It's a Bivee tent. Very versatile and efficient design.
  • You seem like such a peaceful, happy, simple bloke… Really refreshing in the midst of all the crazy and loud stuff going around on social media ! Living in the city, I really miss overnight wild camping trips with delicious home made food in such a calm atmosphere thank you :)
  • Greetings from British Columbia Canada 🇨🇦! I really am enjoying your channel. I’m disabled and your videos relax me, and distract me from my body wide pain 😅

I like the fact that its a raised tent, stops the damp and creepy cruely things coming in and up

A sturdy tent for £130 with a cot, rain awning, air mattress and sheet, pillow and pillow case? I like how it's up off the ground and you can sit comfortably at the entrance like you're in a chair. Nice. Looks great for solo car camping!

It was heartwarming to see you eat a Spam and egg sandwich for breakfast. I'm an American and many people I've encountered immediately say "YUCK! I hate that stuff" when I've mentioned Spam. I've always thought that reaction came from people who have never tasted it. When I was growing up, every now and then my family had Spam and eggs for Sunday breakfast after church. My father liked it cut in 10mm thin pieces and fried crispy on the outside. Before anyone comments, it's processed food so we didn't eat much of it. Anyway, that's enough Spam talk. I appreciate your videos and look forward to more.

What i like the most is how much you enjoy your self prepared meals and a nice beer. Really great to see that.

I actually got the double bed version of exactly this tent for a festival a while back and it was 100% worth it

Ahhh that lovely sound of a tent zip takes me back to camping holidays in the 80s n 90s in Wales with poor weather but that's all my mom could afford on her own.. I'm eternally grateful for those fond memories

I am a woman who has only ever slept in an add on to my late mothers touring caravan once & finally did fall asleep after worrying about insects etc as mum was new to caravanning & had'nt got all the bits & bobs but we survived the weekend on the caravan site :) I have watched your other app on the landrover conversion for some time & did'nt realise till i watched these that you were the same guy . I am from the North East of England in the middle between Darlington /Stockton On Tees & Middlesbrough but i'm married to a Man of Kent or a Kentish Man depending on which side of the Medway you come from ( he's a Man Of Kent ) have been down to Inlaws a few times but never managed a walk through the woods on Bluebell Hill when they are out . Absolutely love Kent & the people. Within days of meeting my future mother in law people were coming up to me at the bus stop saying " You must be Peggy's daughter in law to be , we have heard so much about you , then sat on the bus with me & told me all the nice shops to go in to in Maidstone which i thought was great xx

I hated camping, but you've made it look so easy and enjoyable I might have another go.

Truly amazing. I need something like this for my severely disabled wife. It would give us a chance of having the adventures we used too. Thanks for putting this out there ❤️❤️❤️

The tent is an amazing idea to be fair, imagine it was more than drizzle proof, it would be excellent
  • The last time I went camping was with the girl guides was nearly 55 years ago there were 6 of us to a tent which were made out of canvass. We always camped near a small river. The laser time was for a week it rained solidly for 3 days the river burst it's banks and we had to move the tents twice. Everything was damp and I couldn't take anymore and phoned my dad to come and take me home. If it had been in one of those tents you show I'm sure I wouldn't have minded the rain and wet. I was only about 13/14. I've never camped since preferring a proper bed that wasn't just a sleeping bag on the floor and a proper roof over my head. But the tents you show are really quite lovely and comfortable.

Something so cozy about camping videos.

I love that cot/tent/awning set up. What a fantastic design. This would be great for an outdoor festival event. It also gives you a nice place to sit. The awning being open invites socializing and the cot gets you off the ground for sleeping. All the windows are great for cross ventilation. The fact that it comes with an air mattress and all the bedding is the icing on the cake.

I have two of these! Firstly, terrible for bad weather. BUT!!! They have three or four great utilities. 1. With two you can make a nice naturally closed off camp, get a windbreaker and it's a nice set up around a fire. 2. It's nice to sit on them. 3 (and this is big) I mostly use this inside other tents when you want an extra cubicle. I have a square tent and a couple of times with one other person I've used these so that we each have a private sleeping space. So pretty good.

It’s a bit impractical for camping but could see something like this being good for disaster relief type stuff. Everything in one bag is a great advantage for that kind of thing, a van full of these would house a lot of people without much hassle.

I’ve set up similar system when I was at friends place that had too much company I set it up in corner of living /family room and I had my privacy And made it not awkward for anyone in room Great for those kind of sleepovers
