One of the most impressive bits of #Disney magic has come from #BeautyAndTheBeast and the epic transformation at the end of the film. From the day the movie opened, Disney has been staging live adaptions of the transformation, some amazing, some... well........

“Belle! C’est moi!” had no business being as funny as it was

I did not notice that the Paris version was the Paris version and when he said “belle! c'est moi!” I though he was just being extra authentic and I LOST IT

I love whenever a stage production includes the Enchantress. I saw one where every time a petal fell, it was actually her pulling it and at first, she was super into it and dancing, but as time went on, she got more reluctant to do it as she saw how close the Beast was to learning his lesson.

I was fortunate enough to very temporarily work in the Dutch musical version of Beauty and the Beast. What they did is they loosened the wig and removed almost all of Beast's make-up before his big fighting scene, which was done mostly in the dark in a sort of silhouette challenge. Also, his horns, nose, fangs, paws and feet were attached to his cape with strings before this scene. After dying, the actor was then lifted into the sky, where the cape was whisked away with magic in the dark, and in the dark his facial beastly features would follow. The actor who did it did describe the experience like: being waxed every night.

I will never forget when the Beast started to transform in front of me when I met him. His paw was slightly off, showing the actor's arm a bit. I pointed it out and, while the Beast and Cast Members panicked at first, I just laughed it off and the Cast Members just said he was prematurely trying to change. The Beast asked to keep it a secret from Belle and I agreed. One of my favorite moments from going to Walt Disney World.

I'd love to see an evolution of Ariel's transformation :)

A bit of trivia from an ice skating nerd: The 1996 ice skating show starred famous Russian skaters Alexei Petrenko and Ekaterina Gordeeva. Even though he looks younger, he was 27 at the time and she was 25. Normally, she would have been skating with her husband and lifelong skating partner, Sergei Grinkov, but he had died suddenly of a heart attack while skating the year before. This show was Ekaterina's first skating show since his death.
  • "You're right, it's me! I have talking clock, I have talking candle and now is the moment that you decide to become suspicious?" 😂🤣

You almost have to admire the raw chutzpah of thinking it was a good idea to start a musical adaptation of a movie nobody in the audience had ever seen, on the day said movie hit theaters, with about 75% of the runtime gone. And it worked? That's some confidence literally paying off right there.

It was a nice touch showing Lumiere, Mrs. Potts, and Cogsworth, etc. die in the live-action remake. It was a very emotional scene.

The Prince actually isn’t a Pepper’s Ghost, it’s an animatronic in front of you. The Beast is a Pepper’s Ghost, and the Prince rises out of a trap door through the floor. Someone actually caught a video of the illusion malfunctioning where the Prince didn’t rise up all the way so he’s like just there halfway up through a hole 😂, it’s on TPM videos most recent top animatronic fails video.

Great hosting, bud! Your laugh is contagious.
  • As someone who has seen "Beauty and the Beast" on Broadway, the Beast's transformation in the end of the show is actually pretty good. The strange thing is that there is another actor who portrays the Young Prince in the beginning of the show. Of course during the transformation in the beginning of the show, they pretty much changed actors (the Young Prince actor to the actor portraying the Beast). And according to an interview with Terrence Mann, the actor who played the Beast is also the same actor who plays the Prince in the end.

I was kinda of hoping to see Dan react to high school transformation of the beast and having a laugh cause I sure do

The transformation from the Tokyo Disney attraction is jaw-dropping! I'd never even heard of this attraction before but it looks incredible
  • @Ranger7Studios
The ice show wasn't the voices from the movie. It was the original Bell (Susan Egan) and the replacement Beast (James Barbour) from the Broadway Musical.

"fully dressed in his ballroom gown" far be it from me to nitpick your misspeaking, but that is something i would genuinely like to see.
