Keep in mind, that these songs, and the Rocky movie, was not about winning in the end. He actually lost the fight. But as Rocky himself said, all he cared about was going the distance until the final bell. If he could do that, he would be happy. It is not about victory. It is about personal endurance. And that is the lesson. In life, you don't have to win. You just have to endure.

  • Rocky is not just about boxing. It is about LIFE. Anything that you feel you can't quite conquer. If you believe in yourself and just keep getting back up. That is why this film resonates so much
  • Almost 50 years later and Bill Conti’s score for “Rocky” is still the gold standard.
  • I dedicate this masterpiece of music to my late uncle who recently passed, he loved this film and praised it since he was a child. He taught me the value of not giving up and talent alone does not guarantee anything. - Rest in peace, 1966 to 2022

The date is January the 13th, 2020. Humanity still hasn't produced a better score than the one Bill Conti did for Rocky.

Whenever I feel depressed or thinkin’ my life is bad or going to be bad, I listen this and this song gives me hope and joy about my life. Stay strong fellas 💪🏻

Masterpiece. Like Star Wars, Rocky would not BE Rocky without the legendary soundtrack.

'He's all wrong for us, baby... I saw you beat that man, like I never saw no man get beat before, and THE MAN KEPT COMING AFTER YOU. We don't need that kind of man in our life.' Probably the most incredible line in the entire 8-film series, and it didn't come from any of the leads. God bless Tony Burton.
  • At the moment this song is helping me through some serious depression and misery. Thanks. Wanted to say thanks for all the supportive replies, Very appreciated. wishing anyone else who’s fighting a hard battle to make it through as well.

No composer has ever married a film’s core themes with music better than Bill Conti. Listening to this, you can understand what Rocky is all about without even watching the film. That’s how exceptional it is.
