1:17 - love the detail of Keyes' face. He's disappointed. Not sure if it's because Emile died or because Six chose to stay behind and cover for the loss by taking up the MAC turret. But it's still a detail that I love nonetheless.

Crazy to think if emile turned around and killed that elite. Noble 6 would have hopped onto the pelican and been on the autumn with Chief heading to the ring

Don't any of you argue against this just to justify why you think Noble Six should have been alive. They would've been all dead and Halo Combat Evolved would never have happened if Noble Six decided to just jump in the Pelican.

Not even going to lie, for a split second I was wondering why the Noble 6 armor didn’t look like me

People saying Six died because he “was tired of his squad dying” or “tired of all the death” are romantics. Six knew Cortana was key to winning the war, and if she was destroyed/intercepted humanity would fall. So he created a diversion by destroying as much of the covenant as possible so that the covenant would HAVE to focus on killing Six and his squad of spartans instead of targeting evacuation ships, including Captain Keyes’s ship. He knew this diversion wouldn’t work if he handled the situation like Chief would have (picking his battles, etc.), because storming smaller groups of covenant instead of destroying entire armies of them like he did in his last stand would not have turn Six and his squad into a high-value, potentially priority one target. The covenant might have recognized the out-of-place tactics of the spartan and just left him alone, but the covenant could not let him escape and potentially do the same thing on another planet in another battle, so they abandoned shooting down evacuation ships that likely only contained non-spartan marines to attack Six and make sure his threat was neutralized.
