Paul Byron's short handed goal in game one is the best goal of the playoffs imo.

Came into these playoffs with no expectations willing to accept moral victories, but man we came out spoiled. Never believed I'd love the Montreal Canadiens more than I have, but here we are. Go Habs Go.

Never forget this run. Craig Button said this team couldn’t even win a game against Toronto and we went to the finals. I know I speak for all fans when I say that it was such a treat to watch them compete for as long as they did. We’re very lucky. Thanks fellas. Ghg

Hard to believe Habs won 6 of 7 overtimes

Super proud of the Habs for this magical run. They'll be stronger next season. Thank you for everything, Habs!
  • I'm a leafs fan but this habs run was very entertaining to watch. And this years playoffs was one of the best

They're gonna sing songs about Carey man, he's been the face of the Habs since 2005. King

Amazing show for the fans, I'll remember that run forever! Show many great memories :) Still can't believe they crawled their way back from 3 - 1 against the leafs to make it to the final, just an incredible story!

From a Lightning fan - the Montreal Canadiens will forever have my respect for this unbelievable run. It was nothing short of magical, the stuff fairy tales in sports are made of. Underdogs in every series, never really respected or appreciated. But they never gave up, they never quit. They kept fighting every minute, every period, every shift on the ice. And look, I even said that if the Lightning lost to the Habs in the Final, I would be upset, but I ultimately wouldn't mind it. They are made of the kinds of things champions should be made of. I feel bad that my team is the team that had to put them down, but unfortunately, that happens more often that not - the superior team ends the Cinderella story. But Habs fans, you should be proud of this team. They certainly did enough to earn you being proud of them.

I LOOOVE Josh Anderson celebrating the OT goal sliding on his back looking like a happy baby :)

I'm proud of their fantastic run in the playoffs. They may have not won the Stanley Cup but they've managed to fight their way through the finals despite the odds against them. Thank you for showing this awesome run in the payoffs and I hope that you will still amaze us in the upcoming years. Go Habs Go.

They should make a top 10 with only Carey Price saves these playoffs
  • Honestly each series had a memorable moment. Kk singlehandedly killing leafs nation in game 6, Price's ridiculous saves vs the leafs, Toffoli sweeping Winnipeg, the dramatic OT goals in Vegas (karma for Perry and making the finals), and winning the first finals game since 1993 against a 100 million dollar team. While it had a sad ending for us (and almost the entire NHL), they shattered my expectations and gave me the most memorable run I've ever seen; hopefully they come back here and give Price, Weber and Gallagher a Stanley Cup.
