It's not rare that Magnus Carlsen loses. But this time he did - that too in 23 moves and with the white pieces! Check out this amazing game in the Caro Kann with commentary by IM Sagar Shah. It was played at the World Rapid Team Championships 2024.

At the start of the game, Richard played the Magnus Gambit. Arrive late , Take a sip of water., adjust piece

Rapport once again proved he is a gentleman, when Sagar bhai asked for interview to Rapport post game, he said it was not fair. Great spirit by Rapport 👏

I think Nepo watching Magnus's game as he is being crushed made Magnus resign earlier 😆😆😆😆. H e just felt so embarassed

Magnus completely stumped so early in the game is a pleasurable sight. All his pieces were literally standing on each other’s toes in the cramped space around the immovable king.

Rarest of rare occasions where Magnus was completely descimated right from the beginning

At 5:14 Magnus should have just castled instead of bringing the Rook.Goes to show the importance of king safety

Even though this Carlsen dude had more time and had the white pieces, he still put up a reasonably good fight. He shouldn't give up on chess.
