3:00 GODDAMNIT. Even in a post apocalyptic wasteland Tom Cruise finds a way to drive a motorcycle

“Jack spins out of control and is about to pancake on the ground” lmaoooo i love that little snarky bit

"but he uses his chewing gum and manages to get it going"
  • @nikkolee1670
I love the small detail how Jack's uniform goes from super clean white to black and dirty throughout the movie, symbolizing his transition from memory wiped clone back to the Commander he once was.

that “sinkhole” was the New York Public Library.
  • @adaumisasmr6620
12:46 isn't special FX, Tom literally split himself in two for this scene, what a dedicated actor.
  • @carliecole2563
He should have sub-summarized this movie as: "Another 'Post Apocalyptic Earth' Film where Tom Cruize Ignores/disagrees with 99% of the orders given to him while working as a human version of WALL-E."

Seen this. Brilliant movie. Tom punctuated exactly why he has been at the top of Hollywood for 40 years.
  • I wonder how many Jacks were there on Earth at that time. Julia could have a new Jack every day of her life if she wanted😂
  • @ReasCzCz
This is one of these underrated movies what never get that much attention. But i love this movie and soundtrack from that.
  • @lavana
This was an incredible performance by Tom Cruise
  • @Nerdnumberone
It's funny how the aliens numbered the clones despite telling each one that there was only 2 people responsible for the entire planet. I can see them pulling that dickish act of hubris, however and not getting bit by it. Humans are hardwired to ignore that sort of thing.
  • @gagongflip389
Theres a whole bunch of Jack, but one only Julia. It's going to be real awkward when they all meet.
  • @dostagirl9551
While it had flaws, I absolutely love this film and the visuals were absolutely stunning. My favorite scene being at the end with Julia looking into the sky where the Tet is being destroyed. Her stance, hair, and the backdrop of the explosion are so familiar. I swear it looks like the cover of a fantasy/scifi book I saw when I was younger, but I can't place it.
  • "Migration to One of Saturn's Moons, Titan" Tony, Peter, Mantis, Quill, Drax, and Strange: OK if there's any destruction or ruins there, We and a Mad Titan did that
  • @tibyron96
Only part about this that was wrong is when he called Morgan freeman a man when everyone knows he is god
  • @gfujigo
This is actually a very deep movie. Lots of life lessons. Like sometimes the very things you have been taught to fight and be afraid of is actually the very thing trying to save you.
  • @Brswing
The one thing that this recap doesn't capture is the amazing soundtrack. Such an amazing movie. Flawed, but it's still one of my favorites of all time.

When Jack finds the first downed drone, it's in the remains of an NFL stadium. The last Superbowl was played there before the war and Jack seems to remember the winning score. That's a pretty significant item in the story.
