In the northwest of Nepal, men scale the vertiginous rock faces of the Himalayas to gather the honey of wild bees. These expert climbers risk their lives every spring at an altitude of more than 3,000 metres where they face the giant Apis Laboriosa bees, the biggest species on the planet.
Moti, a young boy, will climb the cliffs for the first time. He’d like to become a honey hunter like his father. He seems full of confidence, but he must exhibit both patience and endurance to become a true honey hunter. His enthusiasm is a good sign for the continuation of this disappearing activity. But will he be able to step into his father’s shoes?

Moti saying its hard to eat 2 times a day deu to poverty but still smiles like the happiest person in the world. :D really inspiring.
  • Great courage by the boy to learn from the Father, and even greater courage by the Father of teaching the son even though he knows the risk involved. Life is hard for these mountain people, but they live it with a smile 😊. How I wish we modern generation could learn something from them.

  • That boy looks up to his dad. This is heart warming. Wish I could send money.

Less than $40 for a month away from home working, plus 2 days walk across the mountains to sell the honey, and he smiles, may god bless him, and I hope the producers of this video gave him 10 times plus more for him and his crew to film their expedition..

I can't comment but by looking at all struggles and effort put, they are really innocent, loving and caring people. Money has no value in their lives. They are happy with what they have.
  • He said I’m the richest on my own and in my village... having so little yet he’s happy.. May god bless him and his family 😊
  • Remember the story of our ancestors while watching this video, working hard just like them. Love 💗💗💗 from India Meghalaya Khasi.
