this trilogy saved the UFC as well, people give a lot of credit to bonnar and griffin, but this trilogy was vital as well in saving the company, the fight between tito and shammrock did huge numbers, and did the highest ppv buys ever back then

Tito complaining about Ken weighing a pound over then proceed to miss weight himself and having to run around the room, then face off might be my favorite tito moment
  • Larone the GOAT keeping the audience of 2023 up to date with the company's OG's.

It’s funny how ken made tito look smart sometimes 😂 one of the most underrated trilogy’s in mma in terms of entertainment.

It's weird seeing Tito being able to put together complete sentences lol

Nobody ever talks about this rivalry, Tito standing alone, flicking off the entire Lions den is one of the greatest moments in UFC history bar none.
  • @Paregoric
Joe's smirk when talking to Vin Diesel "Big fan of the UFC" lmao
  • This channel is a gem, I love those recaps of old rivalries, thank you Larone

TUF 3 with Ortiz / Shamrock is what really got me into mma properly. Thank you for this Larone, the GOAT.

Seeing Ortiz -150, and Shamrock +120 is insane seeing in hindsight.

I actually got too meet Ken through a bro who was doing advertising for him. Me and a bro visited him the day after the big fight with Kimo by means of a knee too the grill. He lived in a nice pad in Eastlake , Chula Vista. He was actually napping when we showed up but he was very cool dude, his wife greeted us. I always liked the Lion’s Den camp, lots of bad asses there. Ken if you happen too see this , it was an honor to meet you that day. ML&R 🙏🏽
  • This is what got me into MMA thanks for this! Nothing beats the gladiator intro too
  • Ken deadass took 3 ass beatings just to secure the bag, what a finesse 😆 the fact he managed to secure 2 more fights after getting completely destroyed in the first fight 😆 master finesser.

13 year old me was a huge fan of Tito Ortiz. Today im embarrassed to admit it but these flashbacks remind me why. Also ortiz and Coleman were the best in the Dreamcast UFC game

Ken was nearly 40 years old the first time he fought Tito. He was way over the hill as a fighter.
