This generation from 2000 to 2011 will probably be the last generation where kids were kids it makes me sad tbh, knowing that no one will experience the fun of the city carpet or playing with toys and using your imagination I don’t get how we got here Edit: bro I get a noti every few hours thx for the support

2006 guy here. Seeing how Wii and PS3 are considered retro now hits hard. Gamecube and N64 was my childhood because that’s all we really had for a while lol. Would’ve loved to grow up when they released. thanks for the video, needed it today!

I was born in 2005, and I've been graduated from high school for a year now, and seeing this video hits hard. Lego Star Wars: The complete saga will always be my favorite video game ever because it was my first ever video game I've played, and that's how I was introduced to Star Wars. I used to play on the 360 when I was 5. I still play it every once in a while. What we do in life echoes in eternity. I've been traveling back and forth across the country for work, and my God, it ain't easy. You gotta keep working hard and conquer your dreams and goals like what I'm trying to do. Don’t let your dreams and goals fall asunder. I will prevail and bring forth peace for my life because thats what it needs. These times are difficult. Especially with thoughts on me thinking about me serving.

Kids used to bully me for playing minecraft. Now i feel bad for them, they will never experience the joy and the nostalgia.

Living in the past is depression, living in the future is anxiety, living in the present is hapiness but living through others perpectives is tedious, instead try living and improving with yourself and the people you love, this is what life needs, again, to be...

If you're younger than 18 or even better, 12-14 years old, as a word of advice from someone who is 23... don't be lost in 'nostalgia' now. Its fun to think about the good years you had when you were younger, but when you start to become lost in nostalgia and compare your current self and situation to your past you will lose a lot of time. Time you have now that you can make memories with. Especially if you were born 2010, you are barely beginning to make more childhood memories. Cherish the time you have in your teenage years. That counts as your childhood. Once you're an adult out of school working a 9-5 you'll thank me. Please don't grow up too fast. Take advantage of the time you have in middle school / high school / college. i made a huge mistake when I was 14, I thought my childhood was over, and I forced myself to act older and mature faster. Now, as an adult I realized how much time I had lost thinking this way. Edit: I hear you all I hope the best for each and everyone of you. To add onto this, I'm young too and I still have time to make memories. It is never too late my friends.

Im a 2009 kid, never played Minecraft but had a DS and a 2DS. When I tell I WOULD GIVE ANYTHING, ANYTHING to find that DS and play some games. Just makes me realize I grew up quickly without realizing. I thought my childhood had ended by time I was 10 and the truth is, it’s still happening. Enjoy the moments now more than ever, don’t just reminisce in old memories, make new ones as well. You’ll be better and more happy when making the memories rather than just remembering them. Keep making those drawings, keep playing those games, explore your imagination, do everything you can to still make memories. Do all of it, with your friends or by yourself, just keep making memories.

2006 kid here, I'm turning 18 on Friday and from the beginning to end i was just holding back tears of joy and sadness. Life has only been going down since I got to Middle School, and being reminded of all the fun I had, even if it's overshadowed by the bad memories, has really made me feel able to live life a bit more again.

I'm a 2005 baby so I grew up watching Nickelodeon shows like TMNT 2012, Legend of Korra and played video games on my Ds and 3ds like Mario kart 7 and Simpsons. Man times were so much better back then

the fact that people born in 2004 are being nostalgic today makes me cry... Im from the late 90s and i feel like time is going waaay too fast
  • I am beaming right now. This gave me mental clarity and a genuine smile. Thank you.

I'm 19 just about to finish his school. and about to go into the military. my life is going at 100 MPH. thank you for making this video and reminding me. It men's a lot.
  • As a 2007 kid, I can confirm that it hits so different when you’re older. You learn to cherish it more with responsibilities and stress in the way, you forget the true happiness in life comes from your childhood memories, they bring back so much joy you forgot. I miss those days ❤

I’m about to graduate high school in a month and it’s very scary to accept, but earlier this year a company relaunched some of my favorite old toys called “littlest pet shops” after not being on shelves for years. they meant absolutely everything to me when I was a kid playing them for hours on end, and buying them again was definitely something that made my inner child so healed. Thank you for reminding me that I have these toys next to me and their purpose. nostalgia is truly everything to appreciate ❤️
  • This is actually mad helpful for where im at right now man. Im so happy that I was able to see this, thank you so much for making this man. I finally got to relive some some old memories that I never even knew about. This one hit hard, and yet so nice at the same time, thank you so much <3

Had the same experience 2 months ago after repairing my old Wii. Just hearing the menu sound is enough to drown me in nostalgia. Then I started MarioKart and the rush grew even stronger. I remember those few games with my father, who was doing his best, and my mom almost always beating me. Deep down we all yearn for those simplier days I think. Becoming an adult is accepting to let those behind and cherish them as we prepare to face the tumultuous future ahead. Thanks for the video bro.
