It's amazing how the legal system coddles and protects those who have unlimited money for attorneys. Set that against a defendant facing the court with a public defender. There is no comparison. It's a completely different system.

Juries get to see the demeanor of the witnesses and the defendant. They get to see if the defendant cringes at some detail the witnesses say. And 45 didn't help himself by cursing under his breath while stormy testified.
