Citizens sitting in the bunker waiting to be saved, only to see their savior is one man running circles around bugs picking flowers like a crackhead in a field of copper scrap.

"We will be going in a circular like motion around the primary objective. " Bro my girl cannot thank you enough!

On top of the main subject of that video, I learned I could open a container with the arc thrower
  • @Distance2Jupiter
Sample totals like '31/30' occur because the '30' is the total visible from orbit. The samples obtained from containers are unaccounted for (can't be seen), which is why you end up with numbers like 31/30.
  • @MrPawsPause
The Most amazing part of this video is you didn’t freeze using the arc thrower 😮
  • @awhisperofroses
I believe the reason you get 31/30 is because 30 is the number of naturally spawned samples, and extras are random rewards from the beacon and grenade door PoIs

100% agree with you on the auto climb. We already have a keybind for climbing, give us the option to disable it while sprinting.
  • Fellow Helldivers, pull out a grenade when you resupply after everything else is reloaded, it’s not much but it’ll allow you to hold one extra which goes a long way fr

The reason that this is a thing isn't because of the size of the map. There is essentially the same amount of samples in a search and destroy too which is also a small map. The difference is that there are no secondary objectives, bases or other primary objectives to split the samples between. And so the points of interest are practically the only place for sample collection. In my experience there are ALWAYS 3 points of interest with a hugely dense level of rare samples. Between 8 to 12. I don't know if you can get a retrieve personnel mission in difficulties less than challenging (4) but if you can, the rare sample POI tiles almost always spawn as a cargo container instead. This I've found from running super cred farms at difficulties 1 - 3. In difficulties 1 - 3, enemies don't spawn at POI's and so for cred/early medal farming you go there instead
  • @iTokyoDemon
Also big tip for everyone. Spore spewers (The giant towers that you have to destroy as a side obj) tend to have anywhere around 2-6 maybe even 8 samples around it. Usually I play on 7 difficulty and find a good bit whenever I check it out, and I never see anyone talking about it since you can destroy it from a distance and not have to think or worry about it anymore.

they really should give us an option to turn on/off auto-climb. those who are fine with it can leave it on, those who run solo and get murdered due to auto-climb can turn it off and have a separate keybind to climb instead. win-win

Commander, your intel has been the light in the darkness, the sharp edge on our Liberty Blade. Thanks for the stellar guidance. For Super Earth!
  • @paths7969
just tried this, found 1 POI then ran around the map with 4 bug breaches on my ass for the rest of the mission until i died (i didnt find any more POI's)
  • @xSpeakerYT
If you change the sample count option to "visible" in the HUD settings, the samples you've collected will always show in the top right so you don't have to keep opening the map to see how many you have.
  • @bar_jumper1312
13:18 this is not true if you fail a mission it won´t effect the capture rate of the planet at all, it will just fail and not add points to the counter... go watch helldivers 2 News if you dont believe me<3
  • @dennis91022
