This right here is a run down city. It’s now 2024 and the transformation is amazing. Now one of the top class destinations for tourist. The Garden City is now returned to its original state. Thanks to everyone involved in making Guyana a place to be proud of.

Born in England I grew up in Georgetown, Guyana for 5 years. I returned twice as an adult. Next time I return I want to go to other parts of Guyana. I aim to stay longer than 3 wks.
  • I love this man's comments. He enjoyed the many different people of Guyana.

Keep Guyana Organic. It’s now 2019 and I miss old Guyana. 10-15 year ago The kids used to respect their older folks , things are changing yes but not all for the good . Yes we welcome all citizens from other country to visit but when the politician sellout our Natural resources to foreign investors and pocket the wealth it’s hard for the citizens of Guyana to live comfortably . But Guyana beauty is forever.
  • I really miss my second home that I spent a month of every year in visiting my grandparents and my Aunts, Uncles and cousins in the 70’s. It will forever be a part of me.
  • I enjoyed my stay in Guyana and I love Guyana ❤️❤️❤️❤️ much love from Nigeria

Some people is talk bad about their country of birth but put up with shit in other people's country. No country is perfect! Guyana has things that needs to be improved upon but I love where I came from and am proud of who it made me into.

Guyana needs to do more eco-tourism. Best way to generate high pay elite tourism and encourages preservation of pristine rain forests.
