We all know J.Cole has bars I've respected his decision to not participate in the bullshit from the jump.

Personally feel like Cole was right and it didn't have anything to do with rappin cause if it doesn't fit in ya soul then don't do it.
  • I feel like Cole thought it was a rap battle at first, but when he realized it was really a super personal battle of the entire culture against a vulture, he stepped out of the way.

“My 4-4 make sure all your kids don’t grow” -2Pac Battling has always been personal

WICKED KNOWS HOW RAP BATTLE GOES, THERE ARE NO BOUNDARIES!
  • J. Cole most def failed the emcee code, but he won on the “keepin’ my peace” code 🤷🏾‍♂️ Regardless of whatever anyone says, Cole will always be looked at differently because of the back out…

Kendrick asked him not to go there but he went there anyway. So that means Drake was trying to destroy his career bringing up his wife. Once Kendrick realized that, he flipped the script back on him. You shouldn't be dependent on another man anyway. If Drake was the hand that feeds you, you need to learn how to use your own hands now. If you care about the culture you're riding with Kendrick. Drake has gone around the world stealing swag and using the machine behind him to squash their wave. Battles from the beginning since Kool Moe Dee dissed Busy B in '83 has been about clearing out the fake MCs. Drake is not an MC, not of the culture and has no overstanding of the culture. He's an actor playing a role that was written for him. He goes to Atlanta, Memphis, Miami, Houston, the UK, Jamaica and Africa(Afro Beats) to study the people and their culture then turns around and mimics what he has observed. This man has even changed his accent to fit in. Where I'm from that makes you a fraud and manipulator. Like Wayne told him, "stick to the pop songs". He's been talking real tough these last few years. That may work in the Pop world but in Hip-Hop just like in any real hood someone is going to call you out and confront you about your fraudulent ways. Especially if you're going behind their back and smashing their girl. You exhibit that type of behavior when you have never truly been outside.
