If this guy could go ahead and explain everything about life as esially and thoroughly as he did in this video then that would great.

Had my TJ for several years, passenger side headlight just went out. Watching this video before I replace with new one. Thanks for sharing this "how to" video.

I just came across this video on Tuesday 10-22-19. My headlight burned out on my 2001 Jeep Wrangler. I went to Auto Zone on Wednesday 10-23-19 and bought 2 headlights. Thanks to this video I changed them both myself! The shop wanted a minimum 1hr of labor which was $100.00. Plus the cost of the parts so approximately $150 (maybe more), to change my headlights. I paid $48.00 for the upgraded brighter headlights and that’s it. It was super easy all thanks to this video. Thank you so much for the in depth instructions and info!

Thank you so much! I installed mine myself instead of waiting for my husband to find time!!!!

Just a tip- the left side and the right side trim pieces I believe are different so don't mix them up as it makes it hard to align back up.

From the UK. I Have Wrangler 2001 TJ. Just to say you can access the light bulb from the inside back of the headlight, with out removing it. Pull the lead out and then rubber surround, fish old bulb out. Put the new bulb back on the lead, between the rubber surround. Now push it all back in. You could probably get the rubber out with buld still attached to the lead be easyer. Usual thing, don't touch the actual bulb with bear fingers. Wear rubber gloves. That access, UK Jeeps only maybe. Cheers.

Great video, thanks! Also gotta say your front end paint looks mint! I know it's a 7 year old video now, but I hope you still keep it that way!

Thanks for posting the video. It helped with the install but also put me on to the same headlights, which seemed to be one of the few replacements with good ratings that I saw.
  • thank you so much...just makes everything go smoother to watch beforehand. great reminder that i would need my torx screwdriver too.

Great vid high quality. It can be tricky if you have a grill guard but once you get the angles it's easy. Took me about 20 min.

So how do you adjust the lights if they are aiming high or low?

thanks for the video! to lazy to figure it out. only thing I'd add is a telescoping magnet.. I dropped a few putting new ones in. There's a nice pocket under the bulb to catch them but you can't get your fingers in there lol

Got to love the star nuts. Thanks for the video
