The Lion's Gate Portal is a significant date in the astrological world between July 26th to August 12th. The Lion's Gate Portal is an annual cosmic alignment occurring during Leo season, where Earth, Sirius, and Orion align within the Leo constellation. This alignment creates a potent energy gateway associated with manifestation, spiritual healing, and transformation.
The Lion’s Gate Portal technically runs for two weeks, opening in late July and closing in mid August. However, the pinnacle of the Lion's Gate Portal is August 8 (8/8) because it is known as the peak of the Lion's Gate, a day for manifestation and considered by many as the marker of a new year for resolutions and goals. People will often commonly refer to this date as the Lion's Gate Portal itself - this date is also known to some as the galactic new year.
This guided meditation walks you through how to manifest your dreams into reality during this celestial time.
WHAT IS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE LION'S GATE PORTAL?
The Lion’s Gate Portal is the moment where Sun in Leo is in alignment with the star Sirius, Orion’s Belt and Earth. This happens when Sirius "rises" or becomes visible again due the Sun's yearly passing of the star.
In astrology, Sirius brings wealth, abundance, fortune and fame. As such, our alignment with this auspicious body means it is an excellent time for manifestation. The Lion's Gate Portal portal period is considered spiritually significant, however; the peak of the Lion's Gate Portal falls on August 8th for a few reasons. In numerology, 8/8 is considered to be extremely powerful - the most powerful of all combinations. Additionally, this date sees the Sun at the half way point of Leo, a season associated with boldness and confidence. The Sun is also the ruler of sign Leo, making everything in this moment in alignment physically and spiritually.

Writing a detailed account of this situation in the present tense. For example:
“I am sitting on my dream patio looking out at a colorful garden space, holding a warm cup of tea as the morning birds sing sweet songs….”
Make it come alive on the page! After you are done, seal it in an envelope as you say thank you to the universe for this vision of the future, and release your inner desire to the external world.
It’s also good to spend some time practising meditation, breathwork or yoga as a way of clearing your mind and tapping into your higher consciousness. This can allow inspiration, downloads and the ‘messages’ of Light Codes to make themselves known. You might want to integrate crystals such as citrine, sunstone and amber in your practice as a way of aligning yourself to be in a more receptive state for these insights.
Treat this day much as you’d treat any other ‘new year’ – by setting intentions, creating resolutions and writing down your goals and desires.
