This is why Michigan has been so good. They figured out that pounding the ball on the ground is a lost art in college football and teams are not built to stop it. Once they decided to load up on the run defenses could know they are running and still couldn't stop it. Even Ohio State couldn't because they have a defense that is built to stop spread offenses.

There are very few teams that have had SO MANY notable players that were ALL unselfish. JJ, Don, Blake, Colston, Zinter, Nugent, AJ, Roman, Mikey, Will, Cornelius, Semaj, Kris, the tag team of Mason and Kenneth...SHEESH! We had god knows how many breakout plays for so many people this year, and that's even WITH sitting our starters for a significant portion of the first half of the season.
